We initially thought for years that it was a closed candy store, but it turns out to be a small bakery. The Facebook page(not updated, and Unilocal won’t take it as a web address, but I think that is all they have( )) notes: «Memaw’s Sweets & Treats(formally Roudabush’s Bakery) is a full service bakery, specializing in pies, dumplings, cookies, turnovers, & gobs.» now, I don’t think that when I think full-service and they think full-service, we are thinking the same things. I’m thinking, open most days, have a wide range of baked goods that taste good, and I think they are thinking, a wide range of nice deserts.(or, they sell out of bread early.) So far, the cookies are very good and good but not excellent value, the chocolate bark is good(but expensive), the gobs(these are wagon wheels or whoopie pies) are quite good and cheap; the apple dumpling was meh, and the other pie looks good. so, we’ll go back, and we see it on the way to blue knob. But, they are not open a lot, and they are out of the way — unless you have a crazy GPS that takes you that way.
