Great authentic Mexican food. It’s hard to find good Mexican food in Clayton. Great for pickup and bring back home. Customer service is good as well.
I would highly recommend this place.

This place sucks because they can’t get orders right. Placed an order to go for three burritos. Asked for black beans in ALL three. One had retried beans. Asked for no cheese in all of them, but cheese was put in all if them. When asked to read the order back, there were several mistakes. I corrected them over the phone. Brought the food home and found the mistakes. I called from home to complain, and said I’d write a bad review, they said, «alright». This error has happened too many times. Not going back.

I am not really sure what happened to this place, but their carne asada tacos are terrible as well as the flautas. I used to go pretty often about 3 years ago and the food was really good. I just went back yesterday and what a disappointment! The flautas are so hard that my kids refused to eat it. I tried them and they were hard as a rock. I am Mexican and I can tell that those tortillas are old. The carne asada is sooo chewy almost like eating gum.
Too sad that such a good place is not terrible.

Cinco de mayo is one of my favorite Mexican spots in Concord area! They have tasty crispy chicken tacos with lots of cheese and chicken. Their bean and cheese burrito is good. I also like that they have a station to serve yourself free chips and salsa!

TERRIBLE customer service. I picked up a large to go order for an office meeting and not only did mess up everyone’s salads, they also forgot an entire meal. When I went back I also asked for a few bags of chips and they told me they could only give me one bag (even though we ordered about 12 entrees). When I got there I asked if I could speak with a manager and the employee refused to get me in contact with anyone. I’ve been working in customer service for a long time and I was pretty surprised with how unprofessional the employee was.

AMAZING TACO ALERT!!!
Whenever I head to a Mexican restaurant I never get tacos. I’m much more a burrito guy, and even more so a «wet» burrito guy. That is what I had the first time I checked out Cinco De Mayo. It was definitely one amazing burrito; however, last night I was craving something different: Tacos.
The tacos are $ 1.95 a piece, and I went with the soft shell to stay a smidge on the healthier side. My meat of choice for the night was chicken. The tacos were packed to the MAX with incredible chunks of juicy chicken. It’s almost like they pulled it from the bird itself right before plopping it down on my tortillas. The seasoning and marinade they used for the chicken, I don’t know what it is, but is out of this word. When with each bite you take more and more juices spill out the other end, you have yourself a great taco. The only stuff topping the tacos were shredded cheese and lettuce, which is great because I don’t like my tacos overly dressed. I can’t rave enough about these tacos.
Accompanying the tacos were their homemade chips and salsa: delicious.
The same gentleman took our order on both visits, and he’s always very friendly to everyone; even to the ones complaining about everything, and the very picky eaters.
I also have to give a shout out to the amazing artwork on the walls. Some of the paintings were so intricately painted that I could have stared for hours.
Taco lovers everywhere, check this place out!

Cinco De Mayo hits the spot! I’ve had enough burritos and fajitas from this place to be a spokesman for this restaurant. I fully endorse their delicious food. Cinco De Mayo’s home made horchata makes the whole experience. I love how convenient this place is too!

The burritos are the best though the restaurant can be a little bit on the dirty side. the staff is always friendly and helpful. The self-​serve chips are very good I do see a lot of people coming utilizing the to go option which seems very popular.

Slow staffs and poor customer service. However I ll be back to give them a second try

We have gone here for years and the quality of food keeps going down and the prices keep increasing! After I went in today and saw the prices increase yet again for food that was just ok I’ve decided I’m not going there anymore. Suggestion to management, go back to some of the quality control you used to have any stop raising prices.

Great bean and cheese burritos, crispy tacos! I get a breakfast burrito once a week which are great as well. Staff is nice and fast with my orders.

Having spent the last 5 years in San Diego, I know Mexican food! This is a great spot for those who like HOMEMADE Mexican meals. I absolutely LOVE their bean, cheese, and rice burritos (especially because they heat up the tortilla!) The crunchy tacos are also extremely delicious– shredded beef is where it’s at! Be sure to ask for a bag for chips to bring home with you/​take on the go! Salsa bar is excellent!

My first time here I tried the combo. Enchilada, taco, and burrito. HUGE portion! I saved the burrito, but everything else was quite tasty. The salsa was delish! Now I know why friends recommended it!

The prices are great and the food is good like an old fashioned Taqueria… nothing pretentious or trying to be high end. It is what it is and how tacos and burritos should be priced — cheap and simple food. Support this business. They are friendly and the service is quick.

Don’t know what all the complaints are about… this place is good. Seems people are motivated to write bad reviews.

Prices are great, customer service is great and the food is yummy and filling! Best chicken tacos around! And their salsa bar is amazing!

Awful service, awful food. The chile verde may have had more flavor than the one on Center Avenue, but it made us sick 30 min later. Two hours later still extremely nauseous. They really ruin the cinco name.

Horrible service, every time I go in I leave unhappy. They mess up the orders every time. I don’t know if the workers are on drugs or just don’t listen. I never rigt reviews on Unilocal but this place is just terrible!

I’ve been to this place on many occasions but recently it’s been horrible. On my last visit my food was unedible, when I asked to change my order she said no. Really?!? Ok then I want my money back and again she said no. I would never ask for my money back or ask to change my order but I go here often. If my guacamole on top wasn’t brown and my pico de gallo didn’t look like it was old, I probably would have said nothing. Customer service here is the worst. Lupita needs to be trained on how to deal with customers. She is extremely rude. Never again!!!

This place is hit or miss! Best time is morning! I got a couple of chicken fiesta burritos but they went light on the fiesta! No sour cream or guacamole as requested. They were more like huge bean & rice burritos barely any chicken. Very disappointing as I know they have it in them to be better! It was all thumbs down today Cinco de Stinko!
