I will preface this by saying that I had never employed a moving company prior to this, so I do not know how this company compares to others. First, the positive: most of the items that I needed moved to my new home were moved. They did not try to charge me for the time they did not work when they were late and taking breaks. The crew leader was pleasant. Now the rest: The movers arrived 30 minutes late and smelled like pot smoke, which is no big deal, but a bit… unprofessional. Only one of the movers(the crew leader) seemed like he had any interest in moving anything. They were unable to move a box spring down my stairs(I moved it up with only my wife to help). They informed me of various rules that apparently exist for movers, which is fine, but they did so after arriving, not before hand. These rules include«we can’t move crates or open top boxes.» «We can’t move your lawn mower if it has gas in it.» «We can’t move any chemicals.» In short, they were«adequate» but did the absolute minimum, and mostly grudgingly. I would definitely recommend using some other company.

This moving company is the worst there is… don’t use them. Their packets are terrible, the company stands behind nothing that they do… do not use this company. run!!!

Recently I needed some furniture moved within my home. Some heavy, awkward pieces had to be moved downstairs, and to other places in my home. Coffee Movers sent three men and arrived on time. I handed the lead mover a list of everything I wanted done. «Donk», his nickname, I presume, took charge of my move and directed the other two gentlemen. Everything was done with great care and professionalism. They were being paid by the hour, but wasted no time completing my job. The charge was reasonable, and the guys were very nice. I will use this company again without hesitation.

I thought a follow up survey, phone call or email would have been sent after our recent experience with Coffee. First off the drivers were over 30 minutes late. Our expected time frame was 8:30−9 am, and no one called to say the drivers were going to be late and they didn’t show until 9:35 am. I think a curiosity called would have been nice. I was told when I set up the move that the movers would wrap up furniture and that was not done. Pads were put on the door frames but the white chair that was moved was not wrapped and now there are black finger stains on it. I am more than disappointed with the service we provided and paid for. Nothing was wrapped and no shoe covers were worn or plastic put on the high traffic floors. To top it off the truck that was brought was not even big enough! My husband and I had to completely fill his truck up two more times to finish moving our items. It’s unfair that we paid all this money to have your house moved and the truck not even hold everything! And we packed up and moved several large items before the movers came. I understand moving is a hard labor intensive job and I’m not saying the movers we had we rude but our items were not handle properly. I am very disappointed with the service provided and unfortunately will not be using Coffee or recommend this company in the future if the office staff portrays your services to be more than the movers are willing to do. I would like to know what Coffee plans on doing about these issues since they won’t respond to my email about we paid!

I emailed them to tell them about our experience, and was basically told, «well, at least we showed up, it could have been worse.» Right, what was I complaining about? They could have not shown up at all! How silly of me.
