Bathroom needed to be cleaned. Pretty gross. I was just driving through during traveling. Store seemed clean every where else.

Probably just had one of the worst walmart experiences ever at this store. I use to work for the company and I know December is a bad month for retail workers but I did not encounter a single employee that was cheerful or helpful… I waited patiently at the jewelry counter for about 10 minutes while associates chatted it up ignoring me. After that my cashier was down right rude. If I hadn’t been so appalled by her I would have asked for a manger on the spot. If I could give less than 1 star I would. From now on I will drive to Franklin.

I hate Wal-mart. Whether in Miami or Chicago, it is a terrible place to go. It’s a dizzying spiral of overstimulating products, signs, and people and you are either crashing into someone, trying to get out of the way, or having your cart stolen. No matter what hour of the day, it’s just horrific. Then, in the mountains of North Georgia, I found this Wal-Mart. Just like the area and its people, it is wonderful. It’s pristine, organized, wide corridors, everything easy to find, and people friendly. I’m still in a state of shock that such a Wal-Mart exists.

My grandma lives less than a mile away and loves you, Clayton Wal-Mart. I’m just happy she doesn’t have to drive into the Carolinas for basic goods, or go to that NASTY(nasty!) Piggly Wiggly in downtown Clayton for food ever again! But as Wal-Marts go, you couldn’t get more destructive than this one(well, Mayan ruins are tied, I guess). They practically lopped off the top of a mountain for it! It’s sort of hidden from the main road, which is a blessing, because it’s Butt Ugly Big Box in the middle of the most beautiful place I knew as a child. You can’t even really walk there from my grandparents’ place because the driveway up the side of the hill(no longer a mountain) is so frighteningly steep, you might get run over. You can still shop barefoot here and leave your car unlocked while you do so, which is endearing in a way. And it is well run and super convenient, as far as these things go, but it’s still an eyesore.
