Lei Kei Farm CSA

2010 was the first year my husband and I participated in a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, and I was so glad we did! Lei Kei Farm provides HUGE shares (enough for a family of 4 most weeks) with a wide variety of veggies, fresh herbs, and fruits. You can pick up your share once a week at the Curious Grape wine store in Shirlington. Probably one of the most convenient CSA’s since you can pick up anytime between 12 noon — 8 pm, or even the next day if you can’t make it.
The only downside is that they don’t sell eggs, cheese, poultry or meat. The vegetables and fruit are excellent though with a fabulous variety (they guarantee 8+ items each week!) It’s also an 18-​week program, longer than other CSA’s in the area.
