Horrible meat department, Better smell it first before you buy it! just got done returning my second purchase of meat within the last 2 weeks. rotten, rancid meat, and what do you get when you try to return it, Norm’s wonderful can do attitude! what a dickhead. He will tell you you screwed it up. I will never return Ray’s and you can thank Norm, from the meat department.

How do they stay in business. Produce is iffy, good butcher, nice staff but very few customers probably cause their prices are pretty high, more than Safeway. They rarely need more than 2 cashiers at any time… however we’re happy they are there when the need arises, hard to stay competitive when they are so close to Wal-Mart and the homeless camp.

Friendly staff — feels much more local than any of the other big chain stores. Staff is helpful.
Many items can be over priced.
Wish I could afford to shop her for everything.

Nice store with just about everything you could want.
They have an excellent ice cream selection including many flavors of Tilamook (my favorite.)
I love their baked goods. They make a pumpernickel bread (odd choice, I know) that’s out of this world! If you’re a fan of pumpernickel, definitely try it.

Good Coffee and doghnuts in the AM. Bakery is helpful with kid’s cakes. Otherwise, painfully overpriced compared to Safeway and Foods Etc.
