Al’s Window Tinting & Custom Window Treatments

I have never been to this business. But they sent me an email asking me to review them on Thumbtack! So here ya go Al’s!

Al showed up right on time to do the tinting and was done very quickly. The job was extremely well done and we haven’t had a problem at all!

Al’s does not have a location to tint windows.
Al came out to tint our 2 cars. There was dirt and specks of sand underneath the tint. When I asked, Al clearly stated «IF YOU WANT PERFECT TINTING, TAKE YOUR CAR TO A FACILITY.»
To make a long story short, I had to take our cars to Auto Styles in Clearwater to be repaired. They did an immaculate job at Auto Styles.
If you don’t mind a little sand, bubbles… use Al’s. He was a nice guy but wind is wind and sand is sand.

First off, Al is a really nice guy. I had the day off from work and chatted with Al while he did a full tint job at my apartment on my 2009 Nissan Cube. I had never seen anyone do a tint job before and Al talked about the process and shared some anecdotes about his many years of tinting work.
The final result looks amazing! This was Al’s first time doing a Cube and it is rather tricky due to the roundness of the windows but his work was flawless. If the film looked like it was going to crease, he pulled the sheet off and started over. I could see that he was the type of person who takes pride in his work and he wasn’t just going to say «good enough.» The rear window had a double curve to it and Al heat shrank the film to match the contour of the window.
I felt the price he charged was reasonable, especially since you are getting many years of experience. Who knows how long the cheaper shops tinters have been doing their craft? The film he used comes with a lifetime warranty so if there is ever a problem it will be replaced by the manufacturer at no cost.
Whenever we get a new vehicle, the first call will be to Al to tint the windows for us!
