Anytime Fitness

Great gym and overall atmosphere ! I have trained at quite a few anytime fitness’s before and this one has something special. Has really clean equipment and everything works really good. Also has wide variety on athletic and functional equipment like ropes, kettlebells, medicine balls and plyos just to name a few. Always welcomed by Ashley the manager when I walk through the door. First gym I’ve been to with a huge ceiling fan on the ceiling to keep the air flowing and stay cool while making all my clients sweat! Would recommend anyone to try out this gym for themselves and see what they think

I thought that this place was awesome. If you’re trying to find it it’s located next to a Staples on the corner of the strip mall. It’s large and has a great selection of equipment, but is spread out nicely and doesn’t feel cramped at all. They have one smith machine, one power rack, one squat rack, and a Star Trac Maxrack. They also had something I had never seen before, which is a Precor Super Squat machine, which you can use facing towards it or away from it. I really liked it. One of the things I miss about going to big box gyms is having seated, plate loaded chest machines. I don’t know why these are so rare at Anytime Fitness locations. Maybe it’s because they take up too much space? Anyway they had a regular one and an incline one here. That put a smile on my face.
They also had room to put in lockers you could put a padlock on. That’s standard in big gyms, but Anytime Fitness locations are usually much smaller and this is only the second place I’ve seen that does this. That would be much appreciated if I had my iPhone with me and didn’t want it to get smashed on certain training days.
This is definitely where I’m going to come to when I’m in Clearwater and want to work out.
