Super good chocolate cake and coffee! Friendly service and nice atmosphere, very glad I went here instead of a Starbucks or something, very refreshing

Great neighborhood bar. Nice cold drafts, a variety of good local beers. Great food menu and nice music

I have to agree with everyone else, this place is much needed in the Clearwater area, that is otherwise lacking much variety in things to do, especially in terms of nightlife. It is nestled away in a quieter part of town. We ventured here as it is part of the American Airlines points program. It seemed like everyone else who was already there were regulars who all knew each other. We were served quickly. The waitress did point out that their menus were about to be updated. They had a few options to choose from(being a café, not a restaurant). We both picked a salad which was nice and fresh. Then the blues band struck up and that was fun to listen to. I think I will check this place out again!

Nice café with a european coffee shop feel smack in the middle of good ol’ Clearwater, FL. The retro design here is cool and the coffee selection is decent. One downside is that the service wasn’t too friendly nor was it quick. That was a bit of a turn off everytime I have ever come here. They do have live music on certain nights, which is a nice touch. They have plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. Overall it’s okay, not my #1 favorite hang out spot mostly due to the lacking customer service, but a decent place to get coffee and hang out with friends. Just don’t expect«Mr. Friendly & Efficient» to greet you at the front door, cause he doesn’t work here.

Cool little place! I was craving a coffee. Café con Leche and a cream cheese croissant. Plus live music to boot. Fun vibe in here, definitely fills a much needed niche in the Clearwater area!

I was a bit lost in Clearwater today, saw this place and decided to turn in. After all it did say café, and I do love coffee so, I decided to give myself a mind break from the frustration of being lost and turn in. When I walked in I was a bit surprised. It kind of doesn’t make sense. It looks like a bar, but has café seats. High top chairs with coffee cup designs in them. It’s not a bad thing, it just doesn’t really make sense. They also had beers On tap where they have the cappuccino maker. For me it’s a dream come true. I love beer and love coffee so I didn’t mind that at all. ;-) To tell u the truth, the style reminds me of the cafés/bars in Europe. In Europe people go out, socialize and sit at café bars. Some people drink beers, some drink wine, some have coffee. They have everything in one, It’s normal. Here, especially in this area, u don’t see it. People will be surprised to see the beer or the other way around. They will be surprised to see the coffee in here. I personally love the idea. That’s exactly how places are in, like I said, Europe, but here in the states, Americans just might not get it. I talked to the new owner who is a nice. He said he recently has taken over since The beginning of the year and is slowly trying to restore the place. It’s clean, has a spacious bar with plenty of high top chairs including table and chair seating. There are a couple of sofas and outside seating also. Bathrooms were very clean. He said he was going to add pastries, sandwiches and coffee type things. He also said that on certain days at night he will be having live music. Etc. I was there at 1:30 pm on a Monday so nothing was going on for me to see much. So, maybe I will go back for some beers one night with some friends and see what goes on there. It could be interesting. Plus, I noticed he had some pretty good beer on tap including Fat Tire IPA.

Very strange place. Not what it seems. Not kid friendly or a coffee spot. Cash only and probably closing soon. Avoid.

Stopped in this afternoon based on all the excellent reviews. Unfortunately my experience was anything but. I walked in to an empty place except for 4 people sitting outside… After sitting at the bar a couple minutes an older gentleman asked me what I would like. This was the 1 and only time I was spoken too. Not having been given a menu, I asked for a latte and it is the reason for the only star because it was excellent! When I finished, not knowing the price, I set a $ 5 next to my empty cup… Change was made & I left without receiving so much as a thank you. I had high hopes for this place… Unfortunately, I won’t be back.

Clearly these previous 7 reviews must have been before the new ownership. Went there Saturday, ordered a beer on tap, wife orders a diet. Waitress comes back and tells us the taps are out of order. Ok, so I get a diet too and she comes back with 2 small bottles that are 9 months expired and flat. We say something and she apologizes, but brings us 2 even smaller bottles that are 2 months expired! Hope you get better at this Charlie!!! OBTW the food was just ok.

I love this place it seriously has the best coffee in Florida. It is well worth the out of the way spot in Clearwater to go and have a coffee and relax. The family that runs it is nice and friendly and there are always a variety of people to talk too.

What a beautiful, relaxing spot in the middle of Clearwater! I stopped in to get some work and was greeted warmly by the owners, one of them strumming beautiful music on his guitar. The Mediterranean Panini was excellent: not greasy, full of flavor and its HUGE-bring a friend to split it. Decent prices, amazing coffee and wonderful service… I’ll be back regularly.

Good latte! Clean relaxing atmosphere with attentive staff. The wife and I stopped in with our sleeping 3yr old… they helped us push together 2 lounge chairs so she could nap while we relaxed with our drinks.

Very cute, loungy interior. Clean, and great for just chillin out. I love the environment. It’s a lot more Tampa than Clearwater, which I love!(Great distraction) The coffee was good, I got a caramel and mocha frappé with a cappuccino shot. The flavor was great, although it had chunks of ice rather than it being«frozen.» But honestly that was fine. I doubt he gets requests for frappes often, and even when he does, if the person is anything like me, they didn’t complain because the over-all upkeep of the place is wonderful. I bought a slice of cake and it was DEVINE. Foreign non-alcoholic(and alcoholic) beverages. It was such a great little place to spend my time! I want to see this place stick around! Stop by!

Thought I reviewed this place already, hmmm. Anyhow, This place is great. The interior décor is very modern and cool. They have a couch, tables, nice leather chairs and a nice bar that wraps around the place. The outdoor patio is cool with umbrellas for shade. I had a chino while lounging in a comfy leather chair getting some work done. The owner is a cool dude as well. Forgot starblocks and head to Charlie’s

After a long day and night of flying ~3000 miles, we popped by Saturday afternoon due to a recommendation from my wife’s hairdresser. As usual, any time your wife’s hairdresser recommends a spot, listen! Don’t hesitate… While this place is a bit off the beaten trail, east on Nursery from Belcher, the interior is cool, modern, spacious, and spotless. Our cappuccino and espresso were perfectly made. We also had unique homemade pastries that were flaky, buttery, and yummy. We have no idea what they were but we’re confident they are homemade speciality, the recipe originating far from Florida. They also had Stella, Paulaner, Shock Top, and Bud Light(huh?) on tap. There is a sunny patio outside with umbrellas for shade in case you’d like to enjoy the Florida weather. I was truly pleasantly reminded of the café culture in eastern Europe…
