David’s World Cycle – Clearwater

I think this place is now called David’s World Cycle.
Brought my Trek here after being disappointed with the service at another local place.
This place has GREAT service and friendly staff that will exceed your expectations.
Everyone is also knowledgable and enthusiastic about biking as well as the local area and trails.
All my TB bike business goes to these guys from now on.

My husband and I bought bikes here and now have been back for service and accessories. The staff is very friendly and does try to help you make the best choice based on what you’re looking for.
We visited today and James was awesome. I really appreciated his help in adjusting my bike so it was just right for me.

The frame on my bike had cracked and I brought it in to the shop and was helped very well by «RJ» (on receipt) who told me that it may be covered under TREK’s warranty and the person to check on it would be in the next day and she would let me know it about a week. Within 5 days Meghan called and said that TREK was replacing the bike. Meghan called 4 days later and said my new bike was in and ready for me. So, within 9 days of bringing in my bike for repair, I had a new bike.
The guys took all my old accessories off the old bike and put them on my new bike at no charge.
The moral of the story: If you are going to buy a bike, buy a TREK and if you are going to buy a TREK, buy it from David’s World Cycle. These guys are the best and will get any and all off my bicycle business.

After just moving to this area of Florida in April, I feel fortunate to have found Trek of Clearwater as my «new» local bike shop. Phil, Megan and team are absolutely fantastic. Beyond their excellent selection of products, their level of service and wrench skills are top-​notch.
I regrettably had a bad encounter with a vehicle last weekend, but Trek of Clearwater was able to perform a full inspection on my bike and get me rolling again.
Great people, great shop. These guys are top notch and I look forward to working with them exclusively to keep my bikes rollin’.

I visited this store today with my friend to price out getting a new Trek and was extremely pleased with my entire visit. This store has so many products /​bikes to choose from and the staff really encouraged me to test as many bikes as I wanted around their lot. They never tried to upsell me or pressure me into getting something that I was not interested in and the end result was an unplanned purchase that I am extremely happy with. Thanks a lot for all your help Trek of Clearwater!

I signed up for Unilocal just so I could do this, these guy’s rock! Had a warranty issue with my fork, not only did they remedy it, they got me a serious upgrade with no cost to me! It took awhile, no fault of them, the manufacturer was dragging their feet a bit that’s all. I’m old school and when a business goes above and beyond they deserve big time kudos! I highly recommend going to this bike store first, you won’t have to go to another. Prices are fair and the staff gets results, what else is needed?

This is my favorite bike store in town — and has been since it opened. I like the people and I like the products. I have now bought two bikes here — and will likely buy more.
Accessory prices can be a little high compared to on-​line sources, but I still try to buy as much here as I can to help support my local bike shop.
I have had great luck with bike service here too — very quick, and reasonably priced.

My wife and I recently upgrades our bicycles and decided on Gary Fisher Treks. We visited several stores in the Tampa Bay area. I am a big fan of Flying Fish Bikes but they didn’t have the Giant model I wanted (they had to order it) and the guys at Trek of Clearwater made me a deal on a X-​Caliber I couldn’t pass up.
The store is fantastic with a tremendous selection of bikes and accessories. The staff is all very friendly and knowledgeable. Ask for Morgan. The man has the patience of Job (to deal with my 300 question and 20 visits :) and knows his bikes.

They have an amazing store. Every type of bike you could want. It is clean, well organized and the staff is very professional. Although i was not there to buy, i would totally buy bike there.
The crank arm on my fisher was cross threaded. They could have told me i needed to to order a new part and i would have gladly done that. Before even seeing if they could order the part the tech said– «yeah i think I can re-​tap that.» told me my pedal was probably fine too. I put it all back together and i am on the road again.
they saved me over 100 bucks. They are very helpful and very knowledgeable.
