Tom Terrific here with another honest restaurant review. this is right around the corner from me and I saw those Firehouse commercials and decided to drop in at 6pm on January 28th. I was not familiar with their menu and I asked the two gentlemen behind the counter for advice and they recommended the Italian sub. I ordered it with white bread, mayo, lettuce and onion. I put some fiery dressing on it that I paid for later. they have a HUGE(dozens) selection of free hot and mild sauce additives right on the counter and they will give you little cups to take them home in as I did because i got my sub to go. i selected three hotties and one was so spicy/tasty i’m going back to see the name of it so I can buy it at the grocery store. the large full size sub was the most moist and delicious sub I ever ate BYFAR. lots of meat, more than I expected and extremely fresh and flavorful. in my opinion Firehouse uses the highest quality ingredients for their meats and the bread. in speaking with the servers I had to re ask answers several times as they spoke so fast i could not understand them even given the fact that I told them I was hearing impaired. with hearing impaired people it’s usually the speed not the volume at which they speak. the sub was very PRICEY at $ 8.79 plus tax brought it to $ 9.41. if price is not an issue then go to Firehouse and enjoy!

The subs were very good as for every firehouse subs. But it took 30 minutes for us to get our food. The person behind us in line got their food before us and when we finally got our food, the food was cold.

Pretty sure a Hook & Ladder light is still supposed to have meat on it. $ 6 for a sandwich with no meat. I called and told them about it and was told i could come back for a replacement. No time as I had to get back to work! No further solution offered.

They provided awesome customer service and the food was good. Ordered the Turkey Provolone off the kids menu, bread was soft and the turkey was thin deli slices… Boars Head I believe. Food was prepared quickly and they appropriately acknowledged my daughter by giving her a kid’s fire hat. As I was explaining to her what a fireman is they provided a5stara. photobook with firemen in it doing their job. We didn’t have time to take a peek because the food was done and I wanted to get her home to prepare for bed time. As we were leaving he came from behind the counter to courteously hold the door for my daughter and I. Definitely

Know I know what they call it the firehouse… it was smokey inside! I think it was smokey outside too that day. Much better subs than Subway and Quiznos.

Firehouse Subs are awesome. They are always fresh, hot, and tasty. The only drawback is that it takes a little bit of time to get your food. I’m always thinking, what are they doing? Its just in the steamers for a minute or two. Even with a little wait its totally worth it. I get the hook and ladder combo each time as I am a creature of habit.
