More often than not, Franco has been closed more times than he has been open. Usually he is gone to lunch at whatever time of day his clients drop off. That makes it very difficult to go to his shop and get a haircut when needed. Recently, I stopped by at a little before 2 pm and his sign said he would be back at 2:40pm so I left and decided to come back before 6pm which is when he supposedly closes. I was back at 5:40pm and he was already closed. Amazing, seems like he is a Barber with Bankers hours. Needless to say, he has tried my patience past the limit, I will not longer frequent his establishment. I had a conversation this weekend with two of his previous clients who no long use him.

Took dad here for a haircut. We arrived with no appointment and while we had to wait for a bit that was part of the charm. Dad enjoyed sitting and chatting with the other customers while we waited. He was very happy with his haircut and the price — $ 14 plus tip. Very clean, inviting and classic — six chairs, mirrors along the wall, and ESPN on the tube. Definitely will return, although if we are in any kind of rush we will call ahead for an appointment. Otherwise we’ll just pull up, sit back, relax and hang out!
