Two of my children have attended J Park Tae Kwon Do in Clearwater taking lessons over the last 10 years and we love it! My son had frequent discipline issues at school and home but the self-discipline and respect the instructors teach really helped shape his behavior in a positive direction. My daughter has also thrived thanks to the martial arts training and instruction she received. It has given her the ability to handle herself and gave her increased confidence. Seeing my kids progress, not just in martial arts, but also character development, leadership, sportsmanship, etc. and see them gain a sense of accomplishment and feeling good about themselves is truly priceless. I would recommend J Park Tae Kwo and their After School Karate program to anyone looking for a great program for their children.

The management of J Park World Tae Kwon Do needs to reflect on their customer service approach. My wife signed her son up for classes in 2010. After signing an annual contract and paying $ 618 for 6 months in advance, which I have never done for any of my other children for any activity, my wife was so disappointed in how the classes were structured, the lack of discipline, that after 3 classes she stopped bringing her son. She never requested a refund, nor did she complain about the funds she had paid. The school has sent her 6 month balance to a collection agency, Affiliated Acceptance Corporation or AAC. They have been pushing us to pay the remaining 6 months for the past 3 years. I have respectfully requested the balance be waived, as her son did not attend the school and at 3 classes for $ 618, the school made $ 206 per class attended. I have had children in other schools where I signed an annual contract, which due to circumstances we decided we could not complete and NOT A ONE has tried to collect the balance. With so many TKD and martial arts schools out there, why should any of us have to sign a contract to have our children attend. It must be because they have problems keeping people coming. If you believe in your concept and program, like Sidekicks Martial Arts in Lithia, Florida, you accept monthly payments and work with families who have issues with the program or finances.
