***** UPDATE ****** Since this review was written, the practice has been sold to Highlands Dental. 4⁄2013 — Found a better dentist who has reasonable prices. I found out when Highland put a cap back on the tooth, there was decay present. something highland did not inform me. 2⁄2013 — I am searching for a different dentist. I cannot help but be disappointed that Dr K did not advise his patient the practice was being sold. I have lost years of dental history — Doctors, please do not do this to your patients. 12⁄2012 — It is usual business practice to expect payment when service has been rendered. ½ the service has been performed and yet they want full payment when the 2nd half of the service has not be performed. 07⁄2012 — Dr Martin worked on my front tooth problem. I found him to be a very good dentist. However, he is seldom in this office location. I just called up to make an appointment and specifically asked for Dr Martin b/c of medical condition. I come to find out, he is in this office only 4 hours this week. WTF good is having a dentist if he’s never in the frigging office. His second string dentist does not evoke a lot of confidence in me & i hesitate having him work on me. I am now looking for a dentist in st pete area to be his replacement. why buy the practice if you are not going to practice dentistry there??? I gotta tell ya — I was born with not so good teeth. Ok they are down right bad. I’ve seen my fill of dentists from NJ and FL, 8 in all. DRKERSTEINISTHEBESTOFTHEBEST. He explains everything & will go into detail if needed. His advice in saving your teeth is right on. His staff, front desk to dental assistants are kind, gentle and understanding. The whole office treat the patient with kid gloves — especially if your the nervous type like me. He will go the extra mile to make sure when he is working on a tooth, it is a painless experience. 5 thumbs up for Dr Kerstein & his practice.
