Edit 5⁄15: I’ve since learned that most of the wine-making kits contain fish by-products, including the one I purchased. Sooo… veganism compromised. I was not amused at all. She knew we were vegan due to conversations, etc., yet failed to mention it. There is a way around this disgusting problem, but it takes quite a lot longer, and there may be other downsides. I stand by my review of the process, but drinking fish guts is nasty any way you slice it. At least now you KNOW. Original review: This is the perfect wine-making place. Karen makes it an easy, fun experience. And it’s a great deal! Perfect for couples, friends, and singles! SO excited to see how my first merlot turns out. There are optional flavors, you can do US or international grapes or wine coolers, and is is SOEASY. She lets you store your batch there while it ferments and you just stop in and do each of the steps, with as much or as little of her help as YOU want. She steps back if you want to do it alone, or she does it FOR you if you’re a more hands-off type. She also sells and rents wine and beer making supplies. This is a GEM. Nothing else this in the whole Tampa Bay area. Try it. You’ll thank me. I promise.
