The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the location and only beer and wine served(no drinks). When I first pulled up, I wondered if I was in the wrong neighborhood. Other than that, it was great! The fish spread was amazing, and I really am not a mayo fan. My wife has the buffalo chicken sandwich with hand cut fries, and loved it. Service was great, and prices were good. Large portions of food as well. I would definitely recommend this place if you like the dive environment.

We went for lunch on May 27. I am at a loss to understand the good reviews. We’re generally not a picky crew. The waitress was great. She’s the main reason for two stars. The spinach salad was so filled with slimey spinach leaves and yucked up mushrooms that it finally went back. My friend was reluctant but there was nothing salvageable. The waitress took one look at it and exclaimed«oh my god, that’s gross!» The fries were actually very good. I had the fish and chips and my other friend had the southern fish sandwich. They were okay. But the real problem was the overwhelming amount of flies. There had to be some trash nearby. The ice machine outside also looked really sketchy, with a lot of rust and gave us the impression that we really didn’t want to know what was inside. Think Bar Rescue and some of the gross things he’s uncovered. The icing on the cake — having nothing to do with the restaurant, really– was the 50ish lounge lizard who came in with his tropical shirt completely unbuttoned, and sat at the bar. He wasn’t fat. But he thought he was giving the rest of us a treat, I’m sure. Not so much. And I’m 54, my pals are around 70. So I’m not a young thing grossed out by an old guy. It was just the straw that broke this camel’s back. Bottom line: skip it.

I brought my outta town guests here to have a cool laid back lunch. It turned out to be a turn off more than anything! We ordered a shrimp Po boy and oyster Po boy and split them. We also ordered sweet potato fries and onion rings which were extra. No side included with each sandwich. We also ordered a cheeseburger with barely any cheese. All were not good and all tasted like the same grease that it was wading in. There was no other flavor. The Po boys came with lots of mayo and cheese. No other flavor could make it stand out whatsoever. The burger had cheese you couldn’t see. At the end, they brought beignets. They were the best of them all but by that time we were turned off by our lunch. Flies swarmed only us. Why was that? Was that from the kitchen perhaps. I have no idea! I was hoping this would be a great experience for all of us. We went straight to get ice cream to get rid of the taste of reused grease.

Super cool local place. The owners and bartender made us feel so welcome on a hot day. I had a super creamy/delicious shrimp and grits. Lots of free ingredients and the quality of the shrimp was very good. Sweet & succulent. Yes I said succulent;) My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich. He said it was delicious just needed a bit smaller bun for a better to chicken to bread ratio. The house made fish spread is one of the best I’ve had in the Tampa Bay. Worth going for that alone. All these elements combined with a funky, fun & eclectic vibe and super friendly service… just go;)

Awesome little hole in the wall. The food is delicious and well priced. The fish spread is the best I’ve had in the bay area and comes with a massive amount of side goodies. Good beer selection of «beach brews».

Great fish spread but watch out for the raw oysters as they don’t clean them. Last time I was here they were so sandy and dirty so this time we asked for them to clean them and we were told they don’t do that. They did ended up cleaning them after we said we were not going to get them then. Next time we just don’t order them. Not worth the hassle. live music here sometimes but not today.

Nauti-Nancys is a solid place to get a meal after a long day on the water. Located very close to the Seminole marina in clearwater, we stopped there around 3pm after a long day of fishing. It’s a small little hole in the wall, we walked though the entrance and decided to sit on the patio. We were greeted right away by a nice bartender who immediately got our drinks. The special that day was fish(i think flounder?) topped with crab and hollandaise served over rice. I ordered the special and it was really good. Lots of food for around $ 12. My SO ordered a shrimp po-boy and raved about it, unusual being that I lived in NOLA for a long time and he knows good poboys. He says the bread was amazing. The total bill for two meals, a water and a beer came out under $ 30. We’ll definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I had never heard of this place and I’ve been in living here for 7 years. The beignets at the end were delicious. Fish spread is incredible too.

It’s been years since I have been here and was so glad we reconnected! We enjoyed the fish spread platter and an order of crab stuffed mushrooms caps for a «light lunch». Totally delish and we ended up not eating dinner. we cannot wait to go back for some of the meals we saw on the menu. We will be back!

If I had to use one word to describe this place, it would be, overrated. The fried shrimp and fries were way too greasy and the fried shrimp are actually battered shrimp. The free dessert item was tough but ok. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

It’s a dive with friendly customer service we liked how people we friendly and welcoming. We are Asian Americans and never sure where we are welcomed in Florida world. We sat down ordered some fresh oysters and my husband had a scallop pasta dish and we had«Not your father’s root beer,» we liked everything. The prices were fair and to top it off they gave ups complimentary beignets so it made for a great finish to our delicious meal. I would return to try other dishes and I would recommend this place to anybody who is looking for fresh seafood, friendly customer service and somewhere off the beaten track. It seems they have an outdoor area where they also have live music and can host and cater a special event. So they are partly a dive and they can do things in a big way too. I am so glad we tried this restaurant they are good people.

Nauti Nancy’s is a local seafood bar restaurant that’s off the beaten path and a hole in the wall, but worth the visit for the nice selection of food. There are specials that change daily along with live music outside in the back, and seating is usually not a problem despite the small interior bar area. Outside is much roomier and there was even a special party being held when I visited. Service is friendly and my server Monica was attentive to my table. I ordered the Manhattan scallops special, and received my dish rather quickly. The scallops were small, but the linguine in a Manhattan clam chowder was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the chowder acting like sauce paired nicely. Monica asked if we wanted dessert, and we initially declined. Monica said that beignets were free so how could we resist? I actually never had them before but they were powdery sugar goodness. One of them was a bit under fried leaving one a bit gooey, but I hear these little delights are deceptively hard to make. Plus these were free and these were my first so I didn’t really know. All in all, this is a must try and we’d be glad to come back. If it’s good enough for the locals, then you know this is good.

My husband and I stopped here while we were riding on the bike trail. It was a very convenient stop. Our waitress was very nice but that’s where the positive review stops. We started with the fish spread. It had too much mayo in it. Plus all the side items that come with it just try and add flavor to it. The fish spread should be able to stand alone. Sadly it doesn’t. After we stopped here we continued to Dunedin and we had some of the best fish spread there. It was full of fish and barely held together on the cracker. You could taste the fish with every bite. We also got wings. Not good again. I had bbq and they were just coated in a sweet bbq sauce. And by sweet I mean overly sweet. I love sweet bbq sauce but this had that fake bbq sauce taste. We def won’t be back. We will pass this place to continue to eat at Dunedin when on the trail. Maybe we caught it on a bad day but there are too many other great places to eat at.

3 stars and not a tenth of a star more. In fact, I’m only going three stars because our server was really nice and the location from the trail is super convenient. Now, on to the food. We ordered the chicken wings(half hot half bbq), the LEGENDARY fish spread, and the biscuits and gravy. The fish spread came out first after 15 minutes and it was terrible. It’s a heavily mayonnaise based concoction that is most likely scooped from a 5 gallon bucket. I think it’s funny how you get a bunch of add-ons with the fish spread, too. Banana peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, red onions — I guess all that stuff is there hold the spread in place otherwise it might slide off the plate. No true fish spread is actually served with all of that junk. The biscuits and gravy was next to arrive and they actually were REALLY delicious. The biscuits were huge and very soft. The gravy was super tasty — definitely recommend that! The wings finally arrived last and they were terrible. Tiny, standard Restaurant Depot, split wings that were slightly warm. The picture looks great but the bbq sauce was too sweet and smothered the wings. The hot sauce was a version of Frank’s Red Hot — almost laughable. So, I can’t say a lot of positive things about the lunch but I will say that if they’re brunch/breakfast items are like the biscuits and gravy then I’d go back. It was just an overall disappointment after seeing all of the rave reviews of the food and atmosphere.

The fish spread was off the charts. It was the first time having it and we were not disappointed. Huge huge portions, and super fresh and tasty. The variety of veggies that it came with made for all sorts of pairings with the crackers and made it feel pretty healthy and light. We also had the shrimp and grits to share, which they split into two bowls for us(probably gave us a bit more than if it were in one). This came with a lot of shrimp and was very savory. The crushed herbs that they sprinkle on the edge of the plate was a nice plus. We were already super full but there were also the complimentary beignets, which were sweet and fluffy. While this spot isn’t exactly next to the beach, it still qualifies as an excellent beach shack for fresh seafood.

Drive bar/restaurant off the Pinellas Trail that has a great NOLA vibe with tons of seafood on the menu with a pretty extensive specials menu as well. Bike parking was recommended in the back and when we walked in we were immediately told to make sure we locked them up. Humm, maybe not coming here at night but the burger and sweet potato fries were awesome and the beer is cheap. Great Trail stop.

This little off the beaten path quirky nautical seafood place is the best meal we had during our week long thanksgiving break!!! Seriously we LOVEDIT and almost went back for another meal so we could try more of their dishes!!! We sat out back in the bar garage where the bar tender immediately greeted us. They have goods drink specials so I tried their white sangria and was so glad I did. I am not sure if the fruit soaks in the wine(as it didn’t look like it did), but it is covered in cinnamon which was a nice twist. Everything on their menu seemed so scrumptious it was difficult to pick what to eat. We chose well!!! Our favorite was the scallop Po boy!!! It was on a hoagie size toasted bun topped with, I mean overflowing with, a ton of perfectly cooked little scallops and a crispy slaw. Did we mention this is one of the best Po Boys we have ever eaten!?! Our mouths and bellies also appreciated the seafood cakes which were a combo of scallops, fish, shrimp and crab(not sure if I missed something as I can’t find them on an online menu). The cakes were mostly seafood with just enough breeding to keep it together onto of a bed of rice. Make sure you don’t eat too much because they give you free delicious beignets when you finish your meal! We will be going back here again!!!

Classic dive — love it The food was pretty good and at a reasonable price. Nancy’s is a totally relaxin environment with a great/small live The décor sets an environment that mirrors your friends back yard tribute to Jimmy Buffett. The beer is cheap and the Mac and cheese is made with penne pasta and that’s what makes this place special. The 40s age group thrives here and everyone has a good time. Awesome dive !

This review is based on food, service, cleanliness, and general atmosphere. The food is great! We started off with soup, then I had a burger, and finished off with some complimentary donut holes covered in powdered sugar. The burger was absolutely amazing. It was juicy, and bursting with flavor. If this review was on food alone, I would be giving it 5 stars. We started out in the back, but it was just too hot, and too much cigarette smoke. We moved inside, but it wasn’t much cooler. We almost left because of the temperature inside. I was literally sweating in my food. The service outside wasn’t very good, but when we moved inside the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. Super glad we moved inside, I just wish they had air conditioning. The building appears old, and is in desperate need for an update. I think they do a pretty decent job of keeping it clean, but I’m a fan of «out with the old and in with the new». Just my personal opinion. I have mixed feelings about the overall atmosphere. It’s located in a not so nice area. The heat was really wearing me down. If I could give it a 3.5 star rating, I would. Overall, I recommend going for the food, checking it out, and sharing your own experience.
