Pinellas Tree Service

We have used Pinellas Tree Service on two previous occasions. The first to trim a large Queen Palm and the second to remove a large ailing Slash Pine. Both job were handled professionally and at a reasonable cost.
When the time came to again trim the palm we called Pinellas Tree. A friendly secretary took the information, thanked us for calling them and said their arborist would contact us promptly which he did. After evaluating the tree we were informed the tree was diseased with Ganoderma, root rod, and should be removed before it fell. We agreed and accepted the proposal to cut down and remove the tree then grind the stump.
Saturday night the area suffered a severe storm, high winds and torrential rain. These conditions caused the tree to fall missing everything but the ground. The downed tree unfortunately blocked our driveway and part of the neighborhood street. We were able to cut the tree into manageable pieces, unblock the street and driveway. We emailed Pinellas Tree Service who immediately responded, This morning they arrived at 7:45pm and removed the debris. for a very nominal and reasonable charge.
We feel comfortable recommending this company.

A few months ago we called Pinellas Tree Service to get a quote on trimming three large Laurel Oak trees in our back yard. Scheduling an assessment was quick and simple. One of the co-​owners came out to our home and gave us a fair quote. Today was our scheduled service and the workmen showed up right on time. Everyone was very professional and our trees look amazing. They did a great job of cleaning up as well. Both the co-​owner and the head workman educated us about our trees and how to care for them as well. We’ve had a great experience with Pinellas Tree Service and would recommend them.

Secretary was absolutely the most rude person ever. They have hundreds of tree stumps outside their shop, and I went in to ask if I could buy one. Instead of her asking questions to get a sale, she laughed at me. Then she proceded to arrogantly tell me how heavy they are as if I thought they were weightless. Apparently, she’s never experienced someone paying for an item, then returning with a truck and a man to pick it up. She must have thought my 120 pound body was going to throw it in my ruck sack, hop on my unicorn, and fly away. Then, after I told her her customer service was terrible, and I’ll go somewhere else, she then wanted to flip script. If I could give this company fewer stars I would. I’ll never go back!!!
