We came here for dinner and was seated immediately. They have a good menu with a variety of combos. We started with complimentary bread. I ordered the trio with a caesar salad to start and the chicken alfredo, garlic butter shrimp, and snow crabs for my entrée. Everything tasted great and especially like the snow crabs with drawn butter. Good friendly service and food came out promptly. We have only 1 Red Lobster back home and I haven’t gone for a very long time, I would eat there again.

Tom Terrific here with another honest restaurant review. I visited this Red Lobster on US19 North on January 26 around 2 pm and had a delicious meal. I was especially impressed with my server Scott who very patiently explained some of the new dishes they had. I selected THEFESTIVALOFSHRIMPWITH3DIFFERENTTASTES($ 20). I don’t like sweet potatoes as a rule but it came with pecans so ventured forth with that at an extra cost($ 2). I also received those 3 tasty biscuits they give you wrapped in a napkin in a basket. the sweet potatoes were very good with the pecans as they also topped it with a pecan sauce. from the main course came 3 different types of shrimp: 1. maple bacon shrimp on a wooden spear grilled 2. spicy red shrimp crusty and deep fried 3. ghost pepper BBQ shrimp on a wooden spear grilled the dish came to me very warm and i started with the maple bacon shrimp. the bacon pieces were a very welcome addition, the ghost pepper shrimp had a nice kick to it but the star of the show was the huge butterflied spicy red shrimp. it had a delicious crust to it that that was indescribable. sweet and hot is the flavor and it was so good I nibbled the crust off the tail just to get it all. Scott told me some people eat the tail for roughage and I was tempted to do that too. all in all this Red Lobster was a stand out as was Scott. I recommend it.

Food is marginal. Price is bit high other than specials. Service is very slow. «Unlimited biscuits» are a myth. We never got more than the first serving despite asking for more repeatedly. .spent so long waiting to get my credit card back that I felt captive.

I am not a huge red lobster fan, I think the food is tasty but I can get just as tasty food for cheaper! We went here for my grandmas birthday. We went late at night, probably an hour before close, and the staff was still friendly. Our biscuits took a little while to come out since they made them fresh. They were worth the wait and were delicious. I got the shrimp linguini alfredo, the smaller portion. It was very tasty! I am glad that I got the smaller porition because I liked it so much that I would have devoured the larger portion as well. I enjoyed my experience and food! This resteraunt has tasty buscuits, a variety of food and drink choices, and is a good pick if you have a good amount of cash in your pocket and you’re craving seafood.

I always had a love for Red Lobsters since childhood. This location has the best food and I am always satisfied with the staff and the food portions are the best. I leave with left over food in hand every single time and lets not forget about their signature biscuits!

Horrible experience here! We went last week for all you can eat shrimp! The waitress was horrible and had a bad attitude! We never even got her name. She rrfused to take plates off the table and kept bringing the wrong order or shrimp then just leaving the plate there. When my fiances food came out we asked for my food and the waitress rudely told us «its one order per person at a time you will have to wait» to which we replied that I didnt have any so that was unfair. After 3 rounds of this wrong order, no time to take plates, dissappearing act another male server notcied us and finally got us drinks and went to check on our food. Our waitress did not like this and came back nasty to us and mad we asked for a refill on biscuits since we had waited so long for any food at all. Finally i was able to get a manager who promptly arrived at the table. Tia recognized us from dining there before and agreed that this was not an appropriate dining experience. As she was standing there talking to us and clearing our table herself the waitress came back and so sweetly said to the manager that she could clear the table and take it for her, after we had asked several times. The management was wonderful and the food when getting the correct item was good but the waitress we had I will never accept being sat in her section ever again!

I have been dreaming about eating at Red Lobster since I heard about the Endless Shrimp promotion. I was looking forward to tasting hand breaded Shrimp and the new Habanero shrimp bites. And my wife was ready to try the Shrimp Scampi. We arrived at 4:54 pm on Sunday the 13th of September. We were promptly seated by Bob a 33 year employee at Red Lobster. At 5:22 pm, we had no interaction or acknowledgement from the wait staff. At this point, I declared this experience ruined by ENDLESSSTUPIDITY!!! we attempted to find someone to help, but were completely ignored. We decided to go to Cody’s(located in the same parking lot). WOW! What a great experience. We were seated and had drinks in less than five minutes. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable dinner. I will never know if Red Lobster has good food, because I will not be coming back.

Save your money! Go to guppys on the beach. The food was bland and generic. None of the food had any flavor. Our utensils and glasses were dirty with dried food on them. Red lobster is kinda pricey for really cheap tasting food. For the price, you could go somewhere nice. It tasted like Golden Corral, but instead of going through the line, they bring you the food. Save your money!

Best part about red lobster anymore are the biscuits. For some reason all red lobster seem to be kind of going downhill I remember back in the day where that was one of the best places to eat at this location is nice and clean friendly staff but it just seems like the food is so so

The food I can’t complain and nevertheless the waiters service. We were a group of 12 people w/kids, meaning we were the ones waiters avoided lol. Seating was pretty fast for a Saturday evening and the appetizer came rather quickly. I didn’t like the fried calamari(salty the most). On the other hand, me and wifey got the lobster and shrimp and they were excellent. In summary, expect really nice people and really good food for a nice price.

Food was worst I ever had in my life I ordered flounder broiled with mashed potatoes-fish was absolutely restless, boiled-whatever spice was sprinkled on top didn’t help at all– mashed potatoes came grey and old. Paid $ 16.00 for it !!! What a waste. Cannot give even one star

I am rating red lobster in clearwater based on the service. The poor service started with the greeter making many people wait when there were empty tables everywhere. Then when you are waiting at the bar they can’t transfer your bar bill to the table?.. Then I get a glass with a big crack and the waitress wouldn’t touch it. We waited and waited then took it to the bar to get a replacement then had to wait for the manager to come over, not with replacement just to check my story… The place has a funky smell but the food is ok. Too many other good resturants to go to a place with bad service.

To start with, our servers says«you will never have to wait on me». The nutshell, over 10 minutes just for the the check. Then forgot about their foods. I have they call shrimp fest. I ordered coconut shrimp, tampura and shrimp pasta. Have you ever eat shrimp taste like been dead for 3 weeks before you cook it? That is what you can get from here. This will be the last time I am here

We stopped by for lunch. By 11:30, it was rather busy. We were instantly seated and asked for our drink order. We didn’t want anything too fancy so we both ordered the Fish and Chips with the up-charge for a side salad. It is the same portion size as dinner but the salad is extra. The total was still below the dinner price. Speaking of portion size, it was huge, crispy, perfectly cooked and piping hot. The service was friendly and speedy. Our waiter(Bill) kept the biscuits coming and our iced teas replenished. The manager stopped by to asked about our meal. Overall, we had a better than expected luncheon. If you’re over by Countryside Mall, don’t forget that they’re located just on the other side of US19 and stop by.

Went there for dinner on Sat, the service was slow and impersonal. Did not get our bread until our food came. Ordered the 4 course meal, but he brought out the soup and salad at the same time. The clam chowder didn’t have clams. Had to wait on getting drink refills, and more bread.

Gotta love that bread!!! It’d be 5 starts but there’s always a wait. Maybe crappy of me to dock a star for that but it is what it is. I only ever have the soups but I love the clam chowder. :)

This is a typical Red Lobster chain restaurant — maybe a bit better than some. The décor is the typical cheesy faux New England fisherman style… Nothing worth discussing. The food, however, always seems to be pretty good. The Cheddar Bake biscuits are amazing. The soups are good, and the salads are… well, salads. The seafood entrees are pretty good, and generous in size. Service is always on the better side of average. I would have gone 3 stars except for the new 4 course for $ 14.99 menu. You get soup, salad, entrée and dessert. The choices are limited, but it makes for a very good value. I always leave stuffed and satisfied.

We enjoyed dinner out with our friends. But there’s nothing much you can say about this chain that would surprise anyone. It’s Red Lobster, they have the absolute best cheddar bay biscuits, but other than that, it’s «sea food». It really is nothing special. I had one of their Hurricane drinks and it didn’t even taste like it had any alcohol at all. They do tend to run some decent specials, like their 2 for $ 25 or their 4 courses for $ 15.99.
