Smoothie King

Smoothies are great prices are good. Why 3 starts ?? 1 person working on a sat morning 1 come on smoothie king ?? I was here for 20 min and seen 3 people leave with out buying ?? The one girl was great she was working hard but you really need more people! Please smoothies should be fast. This isn’t the first time I’ve only seen one person but today was pretty bad

So I would not recommend this smoothie king. I’ve gone to this location three time and out of the three i got a smoothie that tastes like it was made with spoiled milk and the final and last time I will ever go to this smoothie king I got a smoothie that made me so sick for the remainder of the day. Which is really sad because I love smoothie king. I’ll be looking for another location.

I want to give credit to the one girl working right now and who had about 10 people in the store waiting. She has an upbeat attitude and very friendly.
As far as the store itself, it’s a bit on the smaller side but it’s nice and clean. Has plenty of options in terms of healthy snacks. 2 seating areas and 1 sofa. What else do you need for your smoothie fix?

The establishment was fine. The staff was nice and friendly. My issue was 100% with the smoothie. I guess I may have become spoiled with Whole Foods smoothies but if I order a kale smoothie and it is NOT green, you did NOT put enough kale in it. My smoothie was pink! I prefer a place where I watch them place cups filled with fresh fruit and handfuls veggies than here…

You know what you get at a chain, luckily that’s not a bad thing at this establishment.

I really wanted to hate this place as I used to work at Planet Smoothie waaaaay back in the day. But I can’t help it. The ladies here are very friendly (once they warm up to you) and the smoothies are exactly what I need. I was going to Tropical Smoothie until I found out that it was not as healthy as I thought it was.
Most people I think go get smoothies for the health factor, which is why I go there. Smoothie King is awesome about telling you exactly what is in each smoothie and helping you determine what it is that you’re looking for. For example, I am trying to avoid carbs. So I drink the Gladiator with peanut butter and strawberries. Perfect for my type diet. And I think the smoothies taste great. Very pleased with this location as well.
And I also like their reward app system. Very user-​friendly and you can quickly get free stuff with it.

I’ve run through here twice in the last week. I had a solid, quality smoothie with each visit. The staff seems hit or miss, with round one staff being friendly and helpful and round two staff being a bit dick. But, being fair, if I was 19, opening a store early on a Sunday morning while hungover and surrounded by only healthy items, I’d be a bit of a shit, too.

Loud music and seemed a little messy behind the counter. Staff not very friendly. Been to other locations in Tampa and they are much better.

It’s Saturday morning so it was pretty busy inside. But there was only one boy by himself making the drinks, so the wait was pretty long. There are chairs and couches for your wait but i do think there should be more than one employee on duty, especially on a saturday morning! All in all though, smoothie king is amazing! Great prices, great quality!

This is the only Smoothie King I’ve been to, so the first time I visited I didn’t have any set expectations. I was majorly pregnant at the time and just craving any combination of fruit. That being said, I was definitely in the right place. I’ve kept coming back ever since.
The store, size wise, is nothing more and nothing less than it should be. The west wall is covered with a variety of healthful snacks and dietary supplements, while the north fall features the menu and the east wall is where the magic happens.
My favorite part of Smoothie King is their menu. They actually show you how many calories are in each smoothie, for all three sizes of it. I didn’t really care about back in my preggo days, but as a calorie counter now it definitely makes it easy to make a more educated decision.
The service here is relatively quick. A handmade, freshly blended smoothie from this place is worth waiting for, though. My go-​to is always the Immune Builder, which is a tasty concoction of strawberries & bananas, with some extra nutrients thrown in for good measure.
Smoothie King, in my opinion, is certainly the king of smoothies!

Terrible service. We stopped in on Monday Sept 23^rd at 8pm. The thought of not wanting any soy products and powders and only wanting a simple banana & PB smoothie was just too much to comprehend for the girl at the counter. I’d rather drive far and find a Tropical Smoothie!

I know several things. The Mangofest Smoothie is my fave.
The pricing on a Power Crunch energy bar is ridiculous! I buy these as I eat one before every running race or Triathlon I do! I can buy them at Publix 3 for $ 4. I’ve also bought them by the box for a lower price. There’s an Earth Origins store in Palm Harbor that crushes the Smoothie King price gouging on this item…$ 2.95 a bar! Rip Off. The owner wasn’t there but I will run into him and challenge him on that pricing! The Mangofest still rocks! ;-)
