Simply the best thai food on this side of the causeway. Very festive and fancy feel but at the same time casual, it reminded me some much of thr little places on Clark or Halsted in LIncoln Park(Chicago). Not sure how this wonderful little hut found its way to square– old Clearwater but im not complaining!

We arrived half an hour before closing. Table top was slightly greasy from previous use. Our order was taken cheerfully enough but by a young, seemingly inexperienced fellow who felt it was important to give corrections to the slightest mispronunciation or incomplete naming of all 3 appys & entrees ordered tho this had nothing to do with understanding clearly what we wanted and just made ordering a six step slog. Next bump in the road was his confusion at my selection of garlic & ginger on one entrée as opposed to the other option printed on the menu which was basil sauce. He thought I was special ordering and we spent a moment or two on this until I directed him to the menu. Language was not a barrier. Miles to go before we eat: Not having written our order down, he had to come back after a few minutes to – strike three – be reminded of parts of the order he had forgotten. Tea was not served. Water glasses were not refilled. Rangoon crab dumplings have zero discernible crab, not the slightest whiff even, and are actually cream cheese with a bit of curry in an apparently frozen dough which is then deep fried. Disgusting. If you can manage to swallow half or more of this«appetizer,» proceed immediately to the nearest Cardiac Emergency Room. Sa tae beef sticks– unmarinated, little to no sauce covering, tasteless and tough. Spring rolls– the cabbage was sweet, otherwise unremarkable. Seafood Paradise(?) $ 23– a not skimpy but neither generous amount of second rate seafood(except the mussels which were primo– large and juicy) with Yankee(or Dixie– take your pick) veggies(celery, bell peppers, carrots– not an Asian among them) with a watery & near tasteless sauce. Uncle Bens rice. Lamb curry– sauce was suspiciously cream cheesy & just slightly curried We’d asked for #2(on their 1 – 5 scale of spicy) but tasted none. Lamb was cheap cut/dry/tough. Potatoes & carrots were undercooked. Pad Thai was nice and tasty, too. Adjoining tables were cleaned with smelly ammonia glass cleaner and then, sure enough, they swept and mopped around us instead of waiting another 10 minutes for us to finish eating in peace. This is only about 10:15 mind you. Our table began to be cleared before all of us had finished. Then servers came back to ask if the last diner’s plate could be cleared until it was pointed out that by another of us that the straggler was yet chewing, fork in hand. I asked for a bit of something leftover to go at this point to accommodate their need for speed and, while someone of us was still eating, the waiter opened a styrofoam box on the table to dump the leftovers in. I asked him if this could be done elsewhere(I think it’s very unappetizing and classless for a place charging near $ 100, without drinks, for 3 to dine to be shoveling food into a container in your face) so he moved to a table inches away, yet still in full view, whereat I said I meant someplace else like the kitchen and when I saw he didn’t understand where I was coming from I just told him to never mind the doggie bag altogether. No dessert offered, no orange slices– not even a fortune cookie! Just an unasked for check dropped and, $ 90 later, this sad recounting. Very tasteful décor. Some interesting quality pieces adorn the walls. The music selection was nice but speakers need replacing as the sound comes out of them with an annoying crackle. You’ve been warned.

Small, but fresh, fast, and very friendly. Delicious Thai food, and speedy service. They accommodated our vegetarian request without hesitation. Highly recommend the Bento Box for lunch!

My mother lives about 3 blocks from this place. It’s one of my favorite things about going home. The people are always friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food has never been bad. Sometimes it’s hard to tell what the spice level is going to be no matter what you ask for, but it’s bound to be delicious anyway. We’ve tried at least half the items on their very thorough menu, all good stuff. I’m especially a fan of the spring rolls and their pad thai. They’re also very happy to accommodate special requests like specific vegetables or vegetarian options and such. If you’re in the neighborhood & you’re craving Thai food, this is a place you should try.

I give them three stars because the food is great. Service is good. They are waaaay overpriced though. They bill like a fancy restaurant, but are more of just a typical Thai restaurant. Tum Nuk Thai further south(past Ulmerton) is just as good and much cheaper.
