I had a side salad that was amazing! The dressing was fresh made and tasty. My meal was the filet meatloaf sliders with house made chips. The buns were fresh, chips were crisp and the meatloaf was great! My husband had a wedge salad with filet added and he devoured it! My son had the mile high filet meat loaf and mac & cheese as a side. He cleaned his plate. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is so relaxed and the views are amazing! Worth a try if you are in the area for sure. Love this place!

The restaurant was very clean and the décor was very nice. The service was spotty, our server appeared to be extremely distracted and may have been a manager taking on multiple roles. Our server seemed genuinely concerned about our experience but due to his multiple roles lacked in giving us the best experience in getting the family in, drinks, appetizers, food and cashed out. The experience was long and drawn out. The food was mediocre. I got the mile high meat loaf trying something different and it was not a good idea. My meat loaf was burned on the back side and and had a sauce on it that was like a watered down beef bouillon. My daughter wanted soup and it tasted very strong of beef broth so my daughter did not eat her food. Appetizer crab cake was ok but tasted like it had more filler then crab meat. It had a nice presentation though. My son played safe route and got burger and fries. Wife played safe route and got shrimp basket and my two girls in lieu of the soup I decided to get chicken strips and fries for them. Since we started this vacation I have felt that many of these restaurants are just over priced for what you get. This restaurant had me excited based on the reviews but left me feeling like I just scammed.

I have to say I’m rather disappointed. I thought I would get better seafood here. My wife ordered 1.5 lbs of king crab for over $ 40. She loves crab. She wouldn’t eat this. It was cold and flavorless. I ordered the two lobster tail meal. Again over $ 40, cold and really lacking in flavor. I’m from IL and I feel like I could get better seafood at a chain restaurant back home. The Cajun corn was basically a cob of corn doused in butter. Two bites and I was done. My wife also ordered the lobster mashed potatoes but said they lack flavor. The best part of the meal was the lobster bisque. It was hot and creamy. My wife’s favorite part was the French fries my son got with his cheeseburger. Service was very polite and reasonably fast. Overall what I got was not worth my $ 130 bill(+ tip).

Came in at 7pm as I found this place highly rated as a nearby steakhouse by my hotel. I find that steak places allow good flexibility in ordering when I travel for dietary needs and this place online menu fit the bill. Pretty busy when I got in but not terrible. Got seated and was well taken care of by Lauren my sever. She knew the menu well and made some specials recommendations but I had to decline for my diet prep. Went with spiced chicken entrée with sides of braised kale/onion and then a plain baked potato. Meal came out fairly quick and looked great! Portion was pretty good and the chicken was well seasoned. The braised kale and onion bowl was impressive I should say. Meal was $ 21 with tax. Not too bad but not cheap either given what you get. Only steak place I been to in Clearwater so can’t compare. It was close by and hit the spot and kept me on my diet so all in all it worked out.

Nice. I had the mussels and the filet sliders. Perfect. Not too much not too little. They had AC, which was perfect. Who knew it would be so hot at dinner time. Really laid back and good beers on tap. They debuted their new AYCE crab legs tonight but I wasn’t in the mood to eat crab. It looked good though on the other table.

I have so many good things to say about this place! There is a beachy feel, but it’s so superior from the typical tourist traps you’ll find on the island. The quality and flavor of the food was wonderful. Everything(even the bread and butter) is freshly made in house and was delicious. I also can’t say enough about the wonderful service. I was in Clearwater for a bachelorette party and they accommodated our party of 14 women perfectly! The manager came out several times to check on us and we even got a visit from the chef. Our server Elliot was so great with our large group and made us feel very welcomed. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Clearwater Beach. Thanks for the great experience, Reef!

I ordered a Caesar Salad… It was literally 2 chunks of lettuce with permeaseaun cheese sprinkled on top. Awful! Our waiter was not very attentive either. He was literally MIA. Finally, when he did show up to pick up the tab, he went missing for another lifetime. I understand if the place is busy, but the restaurant had maybe 2 tables full. Come on. That was our first mistake so far on this trip. We will not be returning.

The beef brisket sandwich and Thai calamari are real good! Bartender Anna is awesome and sweet, mixing up a special blue Curaçao drink per our request. Great place to hang for an afternoon beverage and watch the world go by.

We walked from our hotel to this place after seeing the good reviews. When we arrived there was no one at the hostess stand so we get a little dumb waiting, but within a minute or two a server told us to sit anywhere we liked. I think it was just him and the bartender at that time. Very quiet for 5pm which made us nervous at first considering it was spring break in Florida… But it gave our server a chance to recommend things on the menu and talk about the food. Bread was excellent, we also tried the filet mignon bruchetta as an appetizer. Three pieces was just right for our party of four that included a person who doesn’t like tomatoes! They were big pieces. For dinner we tried the mahi mahi with macaroni and cheese, a steak with fries, and the other two both had the saffron seafood pot. The fish and steak were very good, the seafood excellent– the scallops, mussels, and other items were cooked perfectly. At the server’s suggestion, my honey got the rice and added it to the bowl. Delicious! We also tried a local ipa(we can’t remember the name, citrus but not bitter with a high ABV), and I tried the campfire martini and the key lime martini. Both good choices.

My wife, daughter, and I enjoyed our meal here. Prices were on the higher side but the food quality was excellent and that’s what really matters when you get the bill. Very nice ambiance. Comfortable and fun. Service was excellent. Michael helped with all our questions and took great care of us. We will be back.

The food was pretty decent. Sheila was a friendly, social and kind waitress and told us which dishes she loves. I suggest asking for her upon entry to the establishment. The restaurant is in one large room with a wrap around bar in the front. Anna the bartender is solid. Makes a great Pina Colada with Rum. Make sure to ask her for it!!! Prices are a bit steep for such a casual environment, make sure to ask if the fish is frozen or fresh

We stopped in for a light snack and drinks. I had the Thai Calamari and a glass of house Pinot Grigio, and hubby had the steak burger and a beer. The calamari was crisp and flavorful. The sauce that it was served with was delectable and pleasant. Hubby said the burger was excellent. The overall menu looked great with a choice of food ranging from appetizers and handhelds, to a full seafood and steak dinner menu. I am not sure how well air conditioned this place is in summer, but it was comfortable on a cool late winter’s day. I plan to return again soon.

I had a friend that was in town from up north and she was staying on Clearwater Beach, so my fiancé and I took her to The Reef since it wasn’t far from her hotel. It was a Sunday around 6:00 so I thought it might be pretty busy but it wasn’t too bad, about 50 percent full, so we were seated right away. We all started out with some drinks(can’t remember names) but they brought me the wrong one. Not a big deal, I still thought the one they brought me was delicious. But they ended up giving me a free drink coupon at the end of the meal so I thought that was nice of them to try to make things right. We got the Short Rib Potato Skins to start off with and those were pretty tasty. I opted to get the Catch of the Day, which was a grouper(I think) that had shrimp wrapped with duck bacon on top of it. Overall I was really pleased with the dish. It had a very creamy sauce and came with some really good mashed potatoes on the side. My friend got a filet, which she really enjoyed. And my fiancé got the prime sirloin, which he thought was cooked really well. Overall a very nice surf and turf type restaurant in the Clearwater Beach area. I think what put them over the stop was their customer service skills. Even though I wasn’t totally unsatisfied with the drink situation, they wanted to make it right, which I thought was really nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, and will come back in the future to get that free drink!

Great meal. Our server Allen was very helpful. Had the Ribeye with a side of kale with onions. Everything except the pasta is made from scratch. The bread the butter, snacking. Highly recommended this place.

We had an amazing experience here! We were in Clearwater for the Uncorked and decided to stay the night instead of trying to drive home and this location was perfect from our hotel. So many good choices on the menu from the scallops to the steak. They do steaks really really good here. We are carnivores and no how we like to eat steak and they did a perfect medium rare with great grill flavors. Our server was amazing and the food came out quickly and in a good order, we were finishing one course just as the next was set down. We will definilty go hear again. 5 starts for quality, quantity for the price, service and ambiance

Customer service was my high note with this place. Respectable calamari. A friend’s lobster mashed potatoes sounded good, but he said they fell flat. Their Unilocal raved grouper with stuffing was very heavy and overpriced when you account quality. Lobster bisque was a signature dish, but seemed overloaded with corn starch. It gave it a processed taste and texture. However, server and staff were very nice and they have a great atmosphere. Best of luck to them.

I went here with my wife and parents for Sunday late lunch, and there was so much good and so much not-so-good, I had to give 3 stars, but this place has 5* potential. The good: * My dad’s Oysters * My mom loved the chicken sandwich, it looked very good! * The frying and seasoning of the calamari * The atmosphere — love open-concept places, especially in Clearwater Beach. Great place to watch a game. * The sides alone are enough to warrant a trip back. The coleslaw, lobster mash, and carrots were all solid * Everything seemed fresh. The not-so-good: * My calamari’s dipping sauce was so salty as to be inedible(good thing the calamari was fine w/out it) * My wife’s meatloaf was good, but lacked seasoning and depth. * My Saffron Seafood Pot was OK, but nothing special. I will note that after letting it sit for two days, it did taste better. Not uncommon with stews, sometimes the dish needs to see for the flavors to become cohesive. While I «will» be back and from the crowd I can see many others be the same, the reason I gave it three stars is because some things came up short compare to other places that I gave four stars too. I think their menu is too big for the size of the establishment — next time I will review Unilocal to see what others like/don’t like.(Note: Lesson Learned)

A brand new restaurant just opened a few months ago in Clearwater Beach serving steak and seafood. Oh yeah, for sure, all about checking it out. They even had a perfect shaded outside patio, a bar, and is very pet friendly. We were greeted by a friendly hostess over the phone and in person. We had an exceptionally awesome waitress Stacy. After checking out the menu, we decided upon an entrée of scallops and side of asparagus, and a short rib dinner with gravy, along with a side of artichoke and au gratin potatoes. Don’t judge a book by its cover, right?! We promise you, we are open. When we received our plates, they just looked… ok. For the price tag, I honestly do think some presentation is important. More importantly, taste of course. First try of the scallops — no flavor whatsoever. Second try of it was the same thing. They said it was a grapefruit citrus type sauce. It was as if it was simply squeezed on with no care or preciseness. It didn’t give a any special flavor or anything. On the flipside, the short rib was tooooooooo salty. Most likely because the poor short rib was drowned and gravy, and couldn’t get out! The au gratin potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes, the ones you get from the grocery store that I love when I am making it at home because they are convenient, but not the ones I love when I’m out to eat, and what seems to be an upper scale restaurant. So, with all my might, I wanted to love this new pet friendly restaurant with wonderful service, but nope. It is a no-go for both of us.
