A friend of mine told me that this TJ Maxx location was one that you could find things at, that you could find no where else. Since it was the ONE location in the Tampa Bay area i didn’t hit before Christmas, I decided to put her information to the test.
The store is neat and clean, and given that this is the week after Christmas, that’s a feat. Especially when there’s a storewide clearance going on. But my friend didn’t exaggerate at all. I found things there that I didn’t find at any of the other locations. Like La Vanilla perfume roller balls, gorgeous leather shoes and a few other odds and ends.
I ended up buying the shoes, the La Vanilla Roller ball perfume as well as some gold under eye treatment and a lip treatment with Wine in it. There were some small containers for sauces that I found that I couldn’t live with out. All in all, I ended up sending a fair chunk of change, but I’m not upset, I found a new shopping oasis for 2015!

I love this place for the days that I walk out of here with something and leave in utter disappointment when I leave empty handed.
There are amazing deals to be found by digging through every item, which of course takes time, but there could be a little bit more organization. They have great handbag, jewelry, shoes and houseware selections, but it is rare that I find a good deal on clothes.

Score a good deal, but be careful because they try to hide behind the designer names a give a little price hike. For the most part, you can find some great deals. They have a great housewares and children’s section. I hate their new check-out system though. (insert blaring intercom) «Next on register 7.» No one can figure out which one is 7, the customer goes to register 6 and then to register 8, but can’t figure out 7. And in the meantime we are all deaf from the intercom.

So I was looking for a cute dress for an upcoming event and figured I’d browse the racks here.
I was appalled with their plus size section. Not only were they the ugliest clothes I’d seen, but they were expensive! I don’t care if it’s a Calvin Klein shirt that’s marked down… I’m not paying 30 bucks for it!
Needless to say, I did not walk out of here with a dress. I probably won’t be walking out of here with anything. Ever.

Good deals but somewhat unorganized. I know they are the same company as Marshalls and I always seem to be able to find things better at Marshalls. They may want to think about making things neater and better displayed since Ross is going to be opening in the same plaza and they will have some steep competition.

If you know me, you know that TJ Maxx is one of my favorite stores of all time. This location is one of my go-to stores to visit. They always have a good selection of handbags, jewelry, and clothing; I can pretty much find something new and exciting each week.
