Transworld Van Lines

I have moved across country several times and this was the WORST MOVE I have ever experienced. Broken furniture, lost boxes, damage to my home. The long and short is that I paid for additional insurance and over $ 5000 in damages is yet to be recovered. Transworld (at best) gave me the runaround. And although Transworld claims to be an Arpin agent, ARPIN Headquarters denied they have ANY connection.
BEWARE. A move with this company just might leave you with a mess that they won’t clean up.

Can’t recommend these folks, my move was a disaster. I looked at other companies but EM Transworld’s salesperson convinced me they were the ones I should use. He suggested we purchase additional insurance which we did for $ 840 giving us 60k additional. They sent Dolphin Movers who they appear to be associated with to Pack. I had paid $ 280– additional for a crate for my Grandfather clock and they showed up with a too small used cardboard box and had to take the clock back uncrated to their warehouse to crate. They used multiple movers to get my furniture from Tampa to Maui. It landed in Oahu and the local barge service refused to take the crate unless it was recrated properly. When it finally arrived the clock was in pieces, the chain for the weights was wrapped around the clock mechanics and the pendulum was broken. This was a family heirloom from the 1600’s. I spent 6 months trying get compensated for my repairs but kept getting put off, owner on the road and hasn’t reviewed was the main excuse. Asked the Dolphin company rep if I could talk to his supervisor. He said sales manager was the same EM from Transworld ergo the connection I spoke of earlier. Fortunately one of the movers was a company called Premier Van Lines International. Richard Jensen said I had 24k of insurance with them and even after 6 months hooked me up with their insurer Executive Insurance who compensated me for my damages. This is the company you should call and Richard Jensen is a standup representative.

Transworld was great. They moved my son from Tampa to sarasota and everything went perfect. I was shocked by how fast the guys worked. And no damages at all! I will definitely be calling them back!
