Six years ago I decided to pursue a professional career change to hospice. In researching which hospice I wanted to work for I repeatedly heard only rave reviews about Mission. After a thorough interview process(the founder hand picks his professional staff), I was offered a position and felt very honored to be a part of the team. Four years later I experienced Mission from a personal perspective when my mother made the decision for hospice care. Mission provided her with the same highly skilled, professional and compassionate care that I’ve observed with all of our patients and families. I have often said, if I ever pursue a career change again it would not be with a different hospice company. I believe whole heartedly that Mission is the gold standard of hospice care having experienced it both professionally and personally. Our founder at every staff meeting emphasizes that if this is just a job to any one of us we should leave. Consequently, you have a very committed staff who embrace hospice work as their passion and ministry. This is what sets Mission apart. Warm, compassionate care at its best. Michelle Long
