I used April Fresh Cleaning to get my house ready for the Christmas holidays. They did a great job cleaning my place from top to bottom. Prices were reasonable and saved me time for other holiday things to do. Great job!

Was given the name of this company from a friend and she didn’t give great reviews but said try them. After leaving a message, the next full day she called back and boy was she rude, ignorant and condescending. First off, she calls me in the car when the windows are down and we can’t hear each other then her attitude was downright horrible, to say the least. Just reading the responses on other people’s posts doesn’t seem very professional. I rather use someone able to take criticism. Hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion, after all, we ARE paying you and that IS business. No thanks after our conversation, there are plenty of good house cleaners out there.

This service does a good, but not a great job. They are however, very dependable and come when they say they will. I have never not had a call back. I love coming home to a clean house, and I am grateful that I did not have to clean it. But, the ladies move too fast and I am frequently looking for throw rugs, (once found my master bath rug in the guest bath) and cleaning bottles left out. There are frequent misses — cobwebs on a lamp shade, and in a corner kind of thing, dust mops not pushed under furniture. If you have a vacuum out and all you have to do is raise it up to reach a web, it is a great impression that it was taken care of and a poor one when you notice that the same web is in view week after week. All it would take is a supervisor to take a walk-​through and make sure everything is put right. The cleaners are pleasant, and efficient though for the most part. I recommend that the owner leaves a check sheet with every visit to be mailed back to her as needed so that clients can comment about misses and preferences without having to confront the person cleaning, (some of them don’t speak English very well) and yet get the message through. A standard form wouldn’t be hard to generate and would probably be very helpful.

Words cannot express how disappointed I am in Stacy from April Fresh Cleaning. What I hoped, and what she had promised, was that I would be happy after my first «detailed» cleaning for $ 150. Not even close. I was literally shaking because of the way she spoke to me and my family. She was belligerent and ranted and raved that she couldn’t clean the kitchen due to clutter. She even said, «Jesus Christ, I can’t clean with this clutter!» — in front of my 3 year old. My neighbor kindly took my toddler outside to play so she wouldn’t hear Stacy yelling. Let me explain. I live in a 1,200 sf cottage and have a 1 year old and 3 year old. There are toys in the living room but they are in baskets and they are contained. There are a lot of sippy cups and bottles in the kitchen too. But they are in baskets. I don’t want to bore you with every detail. I just want you to be informed and not make the same mistake. The house DID NOT look clean after her crew left. None of the bed sheets were changed even though clean sheets were left for her to change. Stacy promised me she would clean under the beds and she positively DID NOT (see pic). She didn’t clean under any furniture for that matter. Absolutely nothing was organized (see pic of my closet). I had specifically told Stacy to work on organization when I first called her. She assured me that was her specialty. If she had spent more time actually cleaning and less time complaining, the house would have sparkled. But it looked the same after she was finished. My husband called her a few hours after she «cleaned» and asked for a refund but she refused even though her website states, «If there is ever anything missed and you call within 24 hrs, we will make sure we easily rectify the situation.» Stacy is not truthful. She is unkind, unprofessional and a shoddy cleaner.

I have the ladies from April Fresh clean my house twice a month and they do a great job! They’re efficient and very pleasant. At my house, they do general top-​to-​bottom cleaning (vacuuming, washing floors, dusting, cleaning kitchen and bathrooms, etc). I always look forward to the days when they clean my house.

This review updates my previous reviews. April Fresh Cleaning came in today and in a few hours, Stacy and her crew had our home (which was a model home) back into model home clean state — it is truly immaculate. We are very, very, very happy.
Stacy’s crew is pleasant and they worked hard to get our house clean from top to bottom.
This past Saturday, they organized my storage area in the basement, taking it from cluttered to organized and our house back to a gleaming clean state that we love.
Based on these past two experiences, we have decided to have Stacy and her crew come every two weeks to clean the house to keep it as we like it.
