An example where a terrible experience can prevent me from coming back. I enjoy friendly’s, cheap but good food and tasty ice cream. But my last experience at this location was horrendous. It was busy, which in itself isn’t an issue, but after we were seated and ordered about 20 minutes passed before our waitress came to us saying sorry about the wait, but the cooks are hard to talk to. What? So basically our waitress didn’t want to confront the cooks about not making our food. I don’t think I’ll be going to that location again anytime soon.

If your just stopping at the To-​Go area to get a couple sundaes to take home be prepared to listen to the servers complaining about their tables. Oh and waiting awhile for someone to acknowledge you. This was on a Sunday at 3:30 which is a slower part of the day for a restaurant. I was a server for many years so I know. Ice cream was yummy.

Awesome! Our server Melissa was excellent! The food was perfect just what we ordered. The maple walnut ice cream is my favorite. Service was fast and efficient. Melissa took time to make us feel comfortable and she made sure we were happy with our food.

Taste was certainly not the only sense engaged when eating at this joint. I caught a strong whiff of a very funky smell as soon as I opened the door. I put a good face on and ignored it, and the fried meals my party enjoyed were all half decent. You can’t expect the food to be 5 star at a place that’s all about the ice cream, but my burger (the Heinz 57) was not bad at all. Good value, too. Huge burger for under 10 bucks. Our waitress was super helpful and informative of any up-​charges we were about to incur. I know some waiters who will leave that info out to rack our bill up. Only time she dropped the ball was when we waited well over 10 minutes to get the change from our check because she was chit-​chatting. Not a bad Friendly’s, all in all.

Seriously the best friendly’s I have ever been to. The waitress are very young but sweet. Food is actually pretty good. I was a little surprised since I have never been to a friendly’s before. I always come here before the movies which is located right in the same plaza.
