Giofano’s Pizzeria

I stopped by because I wanted a turkey hoagie. I knew from past experience that this place uses turkey meat that is nearly cut off freshly from the bird instead of the processed stuff. When I carried it out of the store, I couldn’t help but notice how thick the sandwich felt. It was a delicious hoagie. I couldn’t help myself and got two slices of pizza as well. The slices were of good size. The service was friendly and fast for a Thursday evening.

Cheesesteak stromboli with spicy marinara. Enough said. I had someone send 4 to Richmond, VA because I couldn’t live without them.

Great custom salad. They even offer gluten free crust… my husband enjoyed two cheese slices (regular).

They deliver and fax a copy of the daily specials to my job. The food is good for lunch and most importantly THEY DELIVER. If you are in the mood for pizza or Italian for lunch and don’t feel like driving give them a try!

Just awful. Pizza sauce had raw garlic chunks, wings were still raw and the mozzarella sticks were put in a Styrofoam container out of the fryer, and arrived covered in melted Styrofoam and fryer oil. At least they refunded our money and sent a driver to pick up the food. Should’ve known better. Receptionist was pleasant and probably the best part of the entire experience.

I’ve ordered from here before and most of the food is usually above average. Tonight. The food was out of this world!
First of all, GrubHub told me delivery time would be 55 – 65 minutes. My food was here, hot & fresh, within 25 minutes of ordering – delivered by the same courteous fella who usually delivers here.
It took everything inside of me not to devour the food as soon as I set in on the table. It all looked so delicious but I first wanted to get some pictures to share.
I ordered penne Alfredo (instead of fettuccine), and the «Godmother sandwich» which is the restaurant’s cool play on a chicken parm. sandwich made with vodka sauce instead of regular tomato sauce. Let’s just say, the food tasted as delicious as it looked & smelled! Not to mention, the pasta was served with a super fresh salad and some of the most insane garlic bread I’ve ever had.
I ate what I could. Am currently stuffed… And still have enough food left to package up and send away to help feed at least half of a third world county.
Anyway, I really enjoy it here. I will continue to order from Giofano’s Pizzeria AND recommend it to all of my friends (and strangers) as well! Make sure to check out my pics from tonight’s dinner.

This place is very good.
The prices are very reasonable, the portions are large & they do a good job at cooking what I call typical South Jersey pizza joint food, i.e., wings, cheese fries, cheesesteaks.
Also, you can buy pizza by the slice which is a good option.
I got a fried pizza turnover with steak & onions that was huge.
Always have leftovers when I order that I eat for lunch so you easily get mulitple meals when you order.
Anyway, I would definitely recommend this place in comparison to nearby competitors.
