Websters is our favorite place to stop on our way back from the mountains or fishing at Comanchee. Best burgers and Malts around!

Great burger joint I visit on my way to Jackson or Lockeford. Bacon double cheese and a root beer float… which was excellent. Great dogs as well. Must stop!

The BEST wrangler burger(aka western bacon cheese burger) I’ve ever had. Excellent onion rings. BOMB milkshakes. Try it.

A convenient stopping place in the village of Clements either headed out of town or coming back into town. This used to be an A&W but it now is just a W… Webster’s! They still make their own root beer on site. Quite tasty too. Sure hits the spot when it’s 102° outside. Stop in for some cold libation, great fries and burgers.

One of the best drive-in burgers and fries I’ve had in a very long time! Quick, hot and tasty… what else can you ask for? Worth the stop for sure

Stopped here on our way home from PiPi Campground. We would stop here again if passing through(or subway which is very close by this place). I like the old fashion feel of walking up & ordering at the window & eating at the tables under the covered port. 1) Chili Cheese Fries = Good 2) Chicken Nuggets = Typical spongy nuggets, no better & no worse than fast food nuggets though. 3) French Fries = Good(they are the old fashioned fat crinkle fries –some people may not like those). 4) Vanilla Shake = Good 5) Bacon Cheeseburger = Okay. Maybe the double is better, the single patty was thin and well done. 6) Food was«Cooked to Order» & we didn’t wait too long.

I always enjoy stopping here for dinner on my commute home. I tend to get the same thing Ortega burger fries and a shake. Not bad for ten bucks. One of these days I will step up to the bacon burger or chicken sandwich.

Onion rings where dry and burnt, burgers where a little charred too. Banana milk shake was good. Wouldn’t go back. Not worth it.

Great little while in the wall with simple but good food! I recommend the Ortega burger with bacon and tater tots with a root beer float… Also a great place for your kids to stretch their legs a bit.

Delish! We got some burgers on the way home and WOW what a pleasant surprise this place was. Bun was soft and fresh, veggies were fresh and tasty and the sauce was perfection. Fries were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The menu has everything you could possibly want at a burger joint and more. Fast service, got our food in 5 minutes. Prices are better than fast food joint and the food is much much much higher quality. We’ll be back!!!

The burgers at Webster’s are better than In N Out hands down. It’s the only place I’ll stop now on the way to Kirkwood. Smoothies are great too. Seating area leaves a little to be desired but that doesn’t bother me.

This is as local & mom and pop as yah get. The same people have owned this place since the start. I used to work here & must admit it’s a lil country with the run down building & chickens walking around, but it’s a cool place to stop at. The food is okay & the secret sauce is awesome! Hasn’t changed in years!

Nice local burger place with good food and friendly staff. Had a chili burger and enjoyed it. Not life changing but good roadside food where you aren’t made to feel like an outsider.

My cousin and I were coming out of the Sierras the other weekend on Highway 88, and quickly stopped here for a burger. My cousin had been here numerous times before, but I’ve never been, so he was ready and willing for me, the burger lover, to try it out. Definitely off-the-beaten path in the town of Clements, but also easily accessible, and directly off the side of the highway on 88. I have an appreciation for old-school mom-and-pop outdoor drive-up kind of burger shacks that look like they’ve been there forever, and this one fits the bill. I went with the Ortega Burger, which was at $ 2.79 for a burger with — tomato, lettuce, green chiles, and sauce. I ordered extra cheese on it. My cousin went balls-to-the-walls, and ordered — Ranch Burger(I think this was kind of like a burger on a french roll), a corn dog, and Chili Cheese Fries! The cashier guy was super nice, and super down-home, as with everyone else who worked there. The wait time seemed to take longer than what I’m used to, but still manageable, at about 15 min or so. My burger came out fresh, though the patty was thinner than what I expected in comparison to the size of the bun. I think that the patty was appr. 1⁄8 ib. or less, NOJOKE, which is fine. Fortunately, I’d rather have a burger that isn’t a gut bomber, and I did think that the burger was good, and freshly made. The chili cheese fries were GREAT, and complemented the burger really well. Fries weren’t heavy and chili actually tasted house-made and not canned. I’d come here again. You can’t go wrong with the food nor the ambience, and for awhile, you kind of forget that you’re from the big city!

On the side of Highway 88… directly in the middle of the little town of Clements. Right on your way into or out of town. This used to be an A&W when I was growing up… apparently now it’s just the W. As one reviewer pointed out, this place is about as country as you get. I thought it was HILARIOUS and the true definition of the word irony that when I was eating chicken nuggets that there were chickens and roosters walking around the outside. True amazing ambiance. You order at a window and then have a seat either in your car or one of the many covered outside tables. The food was all cooked fresh… the food didn’t blow me away but the fact that it was made nice and fresh was a very nice thing to see. To be honest this place reminds me of a Foster Freeze back from when I was a kid. Overall I wouldn’t think twice to stop here again next time I am driving up Highway 88. :0)

Boy-howdy, you know you’re in the country when you stop at Webster’s! Roosters crowing every 10 seconds, a hen with 7 chicks crawling around your feet while you eat, and more flies than you’ve seen in a while. But that’s just what we call country charm ’round these parts! Or so I would assume. Being a city boy, I really have no business commenting on the Country life. But the locals were friendly, and the menu was sizable. I was a little shocked to see they offered a gardenburger, but it was very much appreciated. I ordered up some onion rings, and they were solid. Not too thick, but nice and flavorful. My co-worker got a cheeseburger and said it was«good enough», which is all you can really ask of a road-side burger joint. If you’re passing through, you might as well stop and soak up some of the local flavor. If nothing else, you’ll get to feed some really cute baby chicks as you eat, and that makes for quality dining entertainment in my book.
