Alright, I’ll be honest… I haven’t been to a Cracker Barrel in several years so I thought we’d check it out tonight. I am super glad we did! I took my husband and family for dinner. I love having a store to browse in while waiting a few minutes for a table! It keeps everyone entertained! I found some super cute coffee decorations for the house and I love my coffee so I may have to return for these! We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving so I am definitely happy for that. I love that they have a lot of options which is sure to please everyone at the table. They also offer breakfast all day which is a great change. I ordered the Sunrise Sampler. Yes, it was a ton of food, but this girl was hungry! It came with two eggs, crispy bacon, sausage, choice of Country ham or Sugar Ham, warm spiced apples, grits, biscuits and gravy, hash brown casserole, and corn bread! I had eggs scrambled and chose country ham which was perfectly salty and cooked. All of my food came out hot, fresh and delicious. I literally ate everything LOL I also ordered orange juice and a water to drink. The staff was very attentive and courteous which I commend and appreciate. The store was well– kept and organized as well as the bathrooms. I am looking forward to returning soon!

Lovely brunch today and we got there just in time before the crowd! Becky our server took such good care of us! Especially since we were ignored at IHOP. Great food!

I’ve been here before, but this was the worst yet. The hostess doesn’t know the menu. Really? The waitress totally messed up my order. When I asked for things she forget, i.e., a steak knife. She answered«did I get it right this time?» No, actually you didn’t. But I’ll leave it alone. Good was at least delicious.

Great food went over the weekend for my birthday party I got the Sunday chicken special with chicken n dumplings the chicken and corn. I LOVED it! For desert I got the Coca Cola cake which I must say is AMAZING it’s basically like rich chocolate cake(you can’t taste the Coca-Cola) with really good creamy chocolate icing served warm with a scope of ice cream one the side

Good place to go for reliable good food! Never had a bad experience here. You get what you order, time after time. We will be back!

Let me start by saying that I only order take-out from here now. The smells of every scent of Yankee Candle(ironic) stashed in the country store ruin my appetite. That said, I understand food will not be as good after a ten minute drive home. They do family service right. Kids that would normally drive everyone in the building crazy on a 30 – 45 minute wait list(I used to be one, so I know!) can be occupied by a toy store and checkerboards. That’s my one positive. I have learned that when calling in an order, the person on the phone will lie. They always say ten minutes. I now wait 20 before leaving the house, and have still spent anywhere from 10 – 45 minutes wandering around the crowded and tightly packed store, soaking in the bouquet of grease, vanilla, lilac, cinnamon, and everything else I called in to avoid. I get that they are busy, especially all day on Sundays, but give me an honest quote! I would be much happier spending that extra time at home. The food itself is the expected mass-scale microwave dinner. It is good, sometimes, but I promise you Grandma is not back there cooking up a family-style feast large enough to fill two multipage menus. On the occasions that I decide to give them another try, I usually get a bacon cheeseburger, better than fast food at about the same price. They ask if you want medium or well, but medium is unfailingly grey throughout. I assume«well» means«burnt.» The veggies on the burger are always fresh, the pickles are the best part. The bacon and Colby cheese add a nice smoky flavor, but if you end up with an edge that is just beef and bread you might as well throw it away. The patty itself is flavorless and rubbery. Overall, if you know what you are getting into it’s good for what it is; a southern-style chain restaurant with a gimmick. Plan to be on a wait-list or be given a grossly underestimated ready-time. Especially on Sundays.

Very poor service. I went this weekend for lunch and that’s was big mistake I went this location. We are fan of it. And we tried this location… It’s awful experience. The food wasn’t good as well, the service was dump… Decently not to go this location. Specially for special day…

Great southern cooking. My husband and I went on a Friday night, and we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, which wasn’t bad. We loved looking through the country store. We placed our order, and our food arrived super quick! I ordered the chicken and dumplings, with a side of hashbrown casserole and corn. It hit the spot!

Good Food… well at least their breakfast is good. The lunch and dinner menu are just so.so. Cracker Barrel is best know for their breakfast and they have a well deservd repoutation for setting a great table, however they reall need to do something with the lunch and dinner menu. Both orovide rather bland entres pretty devoid of flavor outsideog grease. Even the Hamburger is blp

This place tried to sell us outdated sausage – twice! The second time, it was more than three months outdated! I reported them to the Health Department. After apologies, and expressions of thanks from them for reporting this — we stayed away for quite a few months. Feeling lucky this evening, we went there for breakfast/supper. I ordered the Sunday Sampler, my wife the Mom’s pancake platter. When the food came I was missing one of the two eggs that were supposed to come with the Sampler – and no side order of sausage. The two eggs that were supposed to come with my wife’s order were not there either. Additionally, her sausage was burned on one side, and the pancakes were as well – on both sides! She did not say anything to me about it until she had eaten a little of it – so did not report it to the wait staff. I was nice, too – and did not report the way overdone, supposed to be easy-over egg and cold potato casserole. However, when the missing items finally did appear — my side of sausage was BURNED to a crisp on one side(the side down – of course). By then my wife had told me about her sausage and pancakes. I gave my side of sausage to the waitress — who profusely apologized for someone else’s failing. She was good – and I do not hold her responsible for this. The coup-de-gras came when I got half way through the cooked apples to find collard greens in it. I do not know whether it was leftovers from someone else’s meal or some attached to the spoon that the cook used to ladle both items to the bowls. This is disgusting!

Prejudice people. If you are not a redneck do not go there. We never had such a bad experience. From the beginning that waitress looked like she saw a ghost! We told her to give us a minute to check the menu since this is our first time, she went for 30 seconds even less and came back asking«are you ready now?» I ordered chicken tenders and it was too small, so I asked for one more meal. She came back after 5 mins saying«we are out» I said okay don’t worry about it then. She said«okay» and left!!! She did not even bother to offer something else. Our daughter’s plate was still full, she brought the bill and put it on the table without even asking if we are done or if we need anything else like a desert… So I called the manager Tony and explained the situation. He said that she could have handled it better, can I get you anything else?! This is not her fault, this is the culture this restaurant is built on and it was obvious when we spoke to the manager. On our way out he passed right in front of me and did not even say anything.

As a general rule, I do not review national chains. I’m only reviewing this place because I «checked in» here and now Unilocal keeps nagging me to add a review. It’s Cracker Barrel. The food taste the same no matter which one you go to. It’s all good. They do it well. So I will refrain in the future from«checking in» when I go to a national chain. Most people know what they are getting at places like this. I will not review any more major chains unless I find out the cook is in the kitchen naked.

Good food and good service. My wife and I had dinner. Prices are reasonable. I ate a breakfast menu item and my wife had a chicken sandwich. This is always a busy place.

This place is always packed — epecially on the weekends at breakfast. I never understood why but then we ate there. We got there at 9am(well before the church crowd) and walked right in. They were AMAZING with the kids — the waitress knew to bring the same color crayons, drinks with tops etc. The food was okay — i just had eggs and pancakes and it wasn’t anything special but it was solid. Would definitely go back as long as I get there before the crowds — if you go after 10am on a Sunday be prepared to wait.

I’m a southern girl and I love my southern food. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of restaurants nearby that do really good southern cooking. Luckily, there’s Cracker Barrel! I love this place. Each one looks the same and the food is consistently good along with great service. The atmosphere is wonderful. I don’t care much for the store myself(it’s a bit pricey and not really my style), but I suppose it’s nice to browse while waiting. Personally, I prefer to sit outside on the porch in one of the rocking chairs. They also have giant checker board, which I particularly enjoy when the weather is nice. Warm air, cool breeze, and good company. Inside, the tables each have oil lanterns and a peg game to keep kids(and adults) occupied until the food arrives. There’s also huge fireplace that’s always got a fire in the winter. As far as the food goes, it’s really on the mark. The pancakes are great. They’re not too sweet and they’re always cooked so that the edge is just slightly crispy. They give you a large serving and it comes with real butter and a little bottle of heated syrup. The eggs and biscuits are great, but the sawmill gravy and hashbrown casserole is no good for me. Other than that, I’ve had several breakfast items and I’m consistently pleased with what I’m served. Going for the lunch/dinner items, I love the roast beef. It falls apart on the fork and melts in your mouth. You get a huge serving with three sides(and they don’t skimp on those either) for under $ 10. The greens are so delicious(seasoned the way my grandma made them); the fried okra is always cooked right; and the cornbread is a great, simple recipe with no sugar(I HATE sweet cornbread). The turkey dinner(and lunch) is the Thursday special and I absolutely love it. I’ve been eating at CB regularly for a couple of years now, frequently trying different meals including the seasonal specials, and I am rarely left disappointed. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. The service, like the food, is consistently good, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. It’s a lovely family restaurant and without a doubt one of my favorites.

Artery clogging happiness, stuffed in an imitation but rather interesting country store. Brunch or lunch, this place makes my belly happy. This is also the most interesting place to be on the wait list for a seat. As you wait, you can browse the slightly tacky but somehow tempting country store that graces the entrance. If you are tacked out, try relaxing in the rocking chairs on the front porch. Then, when your name is called, get ready for some great chow. Breakfast/Brunch: — The hash brown casserole is cheesy potato goodness. Balance it with the fried apples. — Biscuits and gravy are what they should be. Only my momma does better. Lunch: — Chicken ‘n dumplings — Meatloaf — Chicken Fried Chicken The sides like pinto beans and greens are proper. Sure, it might take me a week to run off the meal that I consume here. What price should we pay for super tasty happiness? Rhetorical question.

Hook up to the gravy pipe cause you’re at Cracker Barrel! Ok, my doctor cringes when they learn that my shadow graced their doors, but do NOT fear! Cracker Barrell now have a heart healthy menu! I kid thee not. Plus they have selections that are low carb! And to top it off, the food from this new menu is very good. My hat is off to them.
