Great gym, with a very nice facility BUT…
There is no one to greet you when you enter the facility or check your membership in person, instead they have a scanner in the front that unlocks the door. This really defeats the hospitality golds gym is supposed to offer. Seems as if they are trying to save money and possibly could be dangerous if someone was to get hurt inside. Also the members leave weights racked causing much confusion for someone else trying to use the machine after. Besides that, nice gym and highly suggested for anyone in the area.

Strange. I guess they deleted the old record of this place. I went to Gold’s Gym often for about 3 years. The staff was generally very nice, I have no problem with them. Eventually, though, I switched to Fike. There were always flies (like the kind that are attracted to feces) in the showers – even though I kindly pointed this out to staff frequently. I used to love the cardio cinema until they started illegally downloading movies and just showing those (without captions and with newly terrible sound) on loop. It seemed clear to me that while the staff was friendly (when not discharging firearms next to the child watch!) the management was always trying to cut corners and get money.
Save your energy – go to Fike.

Friendly staff. Never super crowded. A good mix of all kinds of people. Not very many annoyingly loud «meat heads» which is nice :)

Best equipment of any gym in the area. Always clean and organized. All sorts of people use this gym from body builders to grandmas getting back in shape
