Pretty sure it’s the only food option at Jim Beam and it’s pretty tasty for a quick option with a captive audience. The pulled pork is pretty good and you get two large sliders with a ton of what seem to be homemade chips. The place is small inside so it could be crowded but there’s a patio too if the weather cooperates. If you’re in need of a meal at Jim Beam this place is worth a try.

This place was ok for a quick, convenient meal after visiting the Jim Beam Distillery. Was by no means bad but was not excellent either. Food was slightly above average.

Keep going. It’s a cute building with tons of potential and a captive market. Ordered the pulled pork recommended by the clerk. It was so dry we could hardly choke it down. The potato chips are homemade and while they are o.k., nothing dazzling. I went back inside, after eating, to sample ice cream and she asked me if I liked my sandwich. I was honest and said, actually it was very dry. She asked if I had used the bbq sauce and soaked it up real good, and I explained that we used some sauce but too much makes it too messy to eat. She says, oh, that was probably my fault, It was towards the bottom, I should have restocked it. Believe me, a jug of sauce was not going to rehydrate that meat. REALLY? You couldn’t have stirred the dry stuff in to a new batch before serving us a big old sandwich of it. On a side note, we had just gotten off the tour where they talk about Kentucky being such a perfect place to distill bourbon because the water is filtered with limestone and how much calcium comes from it and how it is actually«healthy» to drink bourbon(ha ha). When I asked if they had plain tap water instead of bottled, she went in to this story on «water advisories» and how they couldn’t keep up with them, so they pulled the tap water and only have bottled. Geez, that’s funny, I said to her, because the tour just went on about how great the water is that you use for the bourbon. I’m sure it’s about making money, but really? Such an elaborate story about water advisories.

For the only food option at Jim Beam distillery, I enjoyed my meal. Had the Brisket Sandwich with chips and a soda that cost me $ 11. Ouch! Tip: if you’ve got more than 3 people, try the family platter. We should have gone that route, a ton of food for $ 30 is better than two sandwiches, a bag of Cheetos, and three sodas for $ 29.

We toured the Jim Beam Distillery yesterday and came back to try BBQ at Fred’s Smokehouse. Fred Noe is the master distiller at Jim Beam. The BBQ is awesome and you must try the bourbon baked beans. Very yummy
