Wendy’s

I’ve been coming here a long time now and this place is a hit or miss at times. Sometimes you get great customer service as sometimes you don’t. Sometimes the place is open as sometimes it is close without warnings. They messed up my order at times too. I would recommend coming here if you are in the area though. Food is fresh though.

This place is a joke. It has been bad before but last night at midnight; the food was hot and FOUND A DEAD ANT in my fries and chicken!!! I won’t be back!

Food was good. Dining room is clean. Downside only one electrical outlet in the whole restaurant if you need to do work come charged. Internet wifi works well.

I just returned from eating at this Wendy’s this afternoon (at exactly 2:50pm) and felt very disrespected and insulted by this older man (Robert) who took my order. Not only did it took a good 15 minutes to take my (and my friend’s order) with only two people in front of me, but as I was ordering this held his hand up in front of my face and told me to hold up as he wishes to take my order one at a time. This incident happened in the presence of of my friend (who I was treating) as well as others waiting in line. Mind you that I only ordered two combo meals (without even getting to order a small frosty) for my friend and me. Before I even ordered there were other customers (I counted three… waiting to let him know that there was something wrong with their orders.)
After eating my meal, I thought it would only be appropriate to ask for the manager to let her know my very negative experience. She assured me that she will take care of the situation. Why do I have a feeling that this man taking orders have had bad customer encounters before, may not get along with the other employees, or may potentially be discriminatory bigot… I say this as I am an ethnic minority (which has crossed my mind as a possibly explanation the kind of mis-​service I experienced.) This person was there when I was describing my experience with the manager and all he did was look at me with a smirk on his face. He noticed me being visibly upset and shaking as I was talking to the manager.
After having read the past two reviews about the staff in this Wendy’s not being friendly, it just confirmed what I thought of this man. (Though I would like to add that the manager and another lady were really nice… so it was just this unbearably rude man who really is not fit to work in a food service industry like Wendy’s.) I surely will not return to this establishment, primarily for not wanting to encounter this person again. Fortunately, there’s another Wendy’s closer to where I usually go to when I visit the Davenport/​Kissimmee area. This person is not good for business and I wish he gets reprimanded if nor fired.
I have always liked Wendy’s burgers, so it is very unfortunate that the front-​line service people are allowed to work there. I hope the manager I spoke to will be do something about this incident. It’s bad enough that this Wendy’s has such bad rating on Unilocal.

This place is a fly infested rat hole with horrible unfriendly service. I think the only time someone cleans the tables is either the beginning or end of the shift. The only time I ever saw any of the staff crack a smile is when they had a manager by the name of Andy. I think he lasted about 6 months before he either couldn’t stand the atmosphere and quit. Or, because he was friendly they may have fired him. Either way he kept a tight but friendly ship. After our last trip to this location I will never go back. I wrote a letter of complaint about a month ago and have no acknowledgement of it ever getting to the corporate H.Q.. I guess I should have sent it certified.
Do yourself a favor … eat the tires off any car at the Pep Boys next door. They will be cleaner and tastier than the food from this Wendy’s. By the way the staff at PEP Boys is much friendlier too.

Note: This Wendy’s is located south of Clermont in the Four Corners area north of Cagan Crossings, not in Clermont proper.
Not the best Wendy’s around. We keep trying it from time to time, but it simply doesn’t improve. At this point, I think we’ll give up. The staff we’ve encountered has not been friendly or efficient. The food has been overcooked and unsavory. The french fries are always dry and tasteless, not worth eating. Even the alternative side dishes are unpalatable. How they manage to maintain such consistent mediocrity is one of the great mysteries of life.
