Saw this man advertised in a poster at TOMMY’s for a vedic astrological birth chart reading. I am interested in world religions, and it seemed sophisticated enough, so I made an appointment. I arrived to my appointment on time. I waited 30 minutes in some dark hall way with neon lights without anyone telling me how long I would have to wait. When I decided to leave the reader showed up and told me to go in and sit down. I assumed he meant some kind of office, went in, sat down, then he followed. He told me to close the door, despite the fact that he had entered after me. I got up once more and did(although the door does not even close properly.) He entered my birth data in his computer and told me there are equally good and bad things, so it was hard for him to read my birth chart. He mentioned various planets being wherever they allegedly are good. He asked me if I as working in the medical field. I told him I was actually a conceptual artist. He asked me what questions I had. I told him I had no specific questions and would rather have him tell me what he can see. He said he cannot help me if I had no questions, he was no fortune teller. He briefly went over some professional and personal aspects, very much overshadowed with his personal world view which I do not share. He then mentioned I had due to the constellation of the planets til this and that time certain problems for years to come, which can be very slowly removed with daily chanting, but fast, in fact INSTANTLY removed through a ceremony in India held by him with seven priests for 250 $ on a specifically auspicious day for my specific problems, which would me Monday, no, in fact it would be Tuesday. He showed me photographs and explained they would be burning an offering which would remove mars out of the negative influence in my energy field. Just like that. He said it had to be done in India versus the little office we were in right now, as the office was indoors and the smoke alarms installed prevented the ceremony.(Really? I am surprised! But I know a really nice meadow just down the road… we could go there!) I told him it was a very beautiful ceremony, but 250 $ for this is not an option. He pretty much lost interest at that point. He tried a second attempt and left the room to come back with a CD made by him, a tiny metal plate to hang up on the eastern wall of my room and a little made-in-China plastic figure which he told me «this is Jupiter». It was actually Ganesh. I had to laugh at this point. He started telling me he cannot do anything for me if I had no questions and he had to catch a plane, the session was over. I told him he is wasting my time. Disappointing, but not unusual. I have seen a lot of bullshit in the area of astrology, and this was one more example. I have also met some outstanding readers who knew what they were doing and had other interests than cheating insecure clients out of money and who were really very sophisticated personalities. I cannot recommend this person to anyone. Totally ridiculous. Sadly I am strongly under the impression this guy COULD do better, but is only willing to bother if there is substantial profit in it for him. I am really allergic to people with that kind of attitude in the field of reading, because often enough they are the last straw for people going through big personal problems and they get milked and often made very insecure. This is bullshit. Don’t go there!
