Action Maids

I recently had Action Maids clean my house and I thought they did a great job! The two woman arrived right on time and asked me what sort of cleaning I wanted. Within 2 hours, my house was spotless and I will definitely use this company again for cleaning.

Not happy. And I *really* hate writing bad reviews for any business, especially one in the service industry. It’s even more difficult to criticize someone you’ve hired to clean your home – I hope this doesn’t make me a bad person, but I feel it’s important to be honest.
Overall: It’s an over-​priced, half-​effort cleaning job I’ve seen done more thoroughly by an 8 year old.
Two ladies showed up at our new home and before we moved anything in, we wanted a thorough cleaning of the home. I got the sheet and marked down I’d like the floors, bathroom, kitchen, cabinets and appliances cleaned. I figured they’d also dust around, you know, pull down visible cobwebs and actually clean what I asked. Nope. I’m not really sure what they did for 3 hours, but I came in and saw one lady wasting her time cleaning blinds we’re not even keeping, yet the floors looked untouched. What? The bathrooms were what my Mom used to call «Windex cleaned.» This means everything was wiped down with a window cleaner, but nothing was bleached, disinfected, details were forgotten, nothing was scrubbed and there was still dirt and mildew around the faucets. After they left I wiped said dirt and mildew away easily with some bleach cleaner. Same for all the bathrooms. I asked them not to clean out one toilet bowl since the flusher was broken. Apparently that meant just leave the whole bathroom untouched. The wood floors were still dusty, the fridge was still gross in the nooks and crannies. I mean, what in the hell did I pay for? None of the cabinets were wiped down like I had asked and there were visible (and obvious) cobwebs hanging on the walls.
Over $ 200 later, what do we have to show for it? It honestly felt like I was robbed. The ladies were nice and all, but after further inspection, we were totally duped. Unfortunate, indeed – especially since we were considering hiring a regular cleaning once a month.
