Art on Wheels was exactly what I was hoping to find for my daughter’s wedding. Her wish was that all the children, family and guests must be included in the wedding. Carolina Martin from Art on Wheels provided art activities, including the supplies, aprons, paints.etc. The children were entertained for 2 hours, were thoroughly absorbed in the art projects and allowed the«grown ups» to have a great time. One of the projects was a bouquet of flowers for the bride, made out of recycled pop bottles, which my daughter will cherish as a reminder of a wonderful day.(Some of the grown ups also joined in). Parents, children and bride & groom were all happy.

We found art on wheels while trying to figure out something for the kids to do at our wedding reception, so they could be included, but also not bored out of their skulls. Art on Wheels saves the day, with a great concept, that of what the owner Carolina Martin calls«delivering the creative process.» Basically, they pack up art supplies in a wagon, and bring them wherever you want. AOW’s special«Wedding Sitters» service gets the kids involved in the wedding spirit by allowing them to decorate and frame photos, make paintings, color, etc. We’re really thrilled with this because we’re probably going to have 20 or so kids at our wedding, so with this service, both the parents and the children are free to have fun without worry. Plus, AOW is a non-profit organization that really has ties to the Cleveland and surrounding areas. In addition to their wedding sitters service, they do a lot of stuff in retirement homes, and bring their services to people of varying disabilities. So while it may seem steep to pay $ 150/hour for their services, you know your money is being given to a good cause, and that a sizeable chunk of that is used in just supplying paint and various art supplies. So, if you have a lot of kids coming to your wedding, or event, you should really consider AOW. Note: if you go to Carolina, it is nearly impossible to find where her suite is located, so I suggest once you get on Main St. to call her and ask her to direct you. It will save you a lot of time and grief, because the place is impossible to find otherwise(and we went there with a car that has a GPS system installed in it).
