Beckers did close for a couple of months and just reopened which made me very happy. they have a new name, M & M Bakery and had a grand reopening this past monday 11⁄02. This place has the best coffee on the planet. I think its the cream they put in it. very friendly and welcoming people, treat you like a friend

well, I think I found the best donut in Cleveland, and it is shockingly not Jack Frost. sorry peeps, I take it all back. at 85 cents a pop, the maple glaze donut is everything you want and need from your donut. while Jack Frost puts the cream on top(which admit, that’s kind of weird) these are stuffed with a tasty cream that’s just sweet enough. i don’t think this place has any association with the suburban becker’s and the location is most definitely not suburban, which makes it even better.

Despite the closings of numerous bakeries in Slavic Village(including the notable Gertrude’s), Becker’s remains and it’s still a great place to get a donut. My grandpa occasionally used to treat me and my sisters growing up to these. 75 cents for a single donut. My cream filled maple glaze donut was fine, filled with quite a bit of that great sugary cream, all for 75 cents. Service was fine. Don’t expect any frills. There’s a dozen or 2 types of donuts and black coffee, not ‘gourmet’, that’s about it. Yes, it’s in a sketchy neighborhood and there’s numerous signs warning of video surveillance. Becker’s was buzzing with many service workers stopping in at 8am on a weekday. Note, there’s no place to sit down here. If you’re looking for a no frills donut place where little has changed in 20 years, Becker’s is a good choice.

THEBESTDONUTSINCLEVELAND! Had my first when a coworker brought some in to the office. I’ve been back several times. I tend to avoid donuts for the health reasons, but if I’m gonna have one, this is the one I want. In my opinion, their signature is a cake donut with the white frosting and sprinkles. The frosting is what makes it. It’s not a traditional donuts icing. It’s closer to a buttercream cake frosting but lighter like it’s been whipped. I find good donuts are pretty hard to compare to each other, so all I can say about the normal raised varieties are that they’re good. So try the cake w/frosting and enjoy the best donut in Cleveland. P. S. the location is pretty ghetto so don’t park your car far. NOTICE: tried to go on a Sunday morning and they were CLOSED!!! No donuts on a Sunday morning???
