I’ve taken a few flight lessons here. And it’s a beautiful airport that I feel more people should utilize. If you’re looking for a great place to fly out of, give Burke a try. You get great views of downtown Cleveland and flying along the shoreline is pretty spectacular. There aren’t many airports on the water, so this is a special treat. And it’s accessible to anyone not just jets. You can talk to one of the flight schools and they will take you up for an introductory flight. It’s a great way to spend an afternoon. And if you like it, you can keep going and get a license. And it’s not as expensive as everyone assumes it is.

I think this would be a good area for a park, restaurants, and apartments because not many airplanes fly in here, but still a cool place to have an airport.

Cleveland, OH
My friend took classes here and we flew from here to Ohio State airport for a BLT and flew back. Nice, clean and safe airport. Only thing is when we took off we circled tight over a semi frozed lake Erie… needless to say I thought I was gonna die.lol.
