Candy Corner

I think even on the busiest Saturday afternoon, kids have a radar that guides them through the hustle and bustle of the West Side Market right to this very stand.
Candy Corner, you are a child’s reason for not complaining about having to go shopping at the WSM. Can I blame ‘em? Heck no! Even as an adult I look at the rainbow colored glass cases filled with any and all kinds of candy you can imagine in awe. I can only imagine what a kid must see… heaven perhaps?
We’ve got a few great candy shops around the Cleveland area, but I really dig Candy Corner for a few reasons: one being their customer service. They have patience with kids even on a busy day at the market. The staff member who helped us suggested cool stuff that my boyfriend’s son might not have seen, and he ended up loving it! She even waited while he tried to make up his mind and made friendly conversation with us.
An added bonus is how cheap they sell this candy for. We left with a giant, rainbow colored lollipop, a burping alligator sucker and one extremely satisfied 6 year old.
