Charter had been rock solid for years. During the last six months the internet speed has either been ZERO or slow. Charter makes you talk to a «service rep» who have been told to tell people to take it or leave it. I have seen no interest in solving the slow speed. The rep said Charter does not guarantee any internet speed. They advertise 60mbs. I am lucky if I get 10MBS. The service was faster before the company upgraded about 8 months ago. The rep said that there were too many people in my area using too much bandwidth. That would be like the electric department saying the electric line is too thin to give everyone 120 volts. It sounds like Charter needs to upgrade their equipment. I have been impressed with the service technicians, but Charter has probably made a decision to tell people a «tall tail» about the speeds and hope for the best. Is this false advertising?

This review is specifically about a gentleman named Greggory Theus. He came to my house precisely at the time that was requested of him. He made sure to work with me on all aspects of my high speed internet installation. He then helped me set it up exactly where I wanted it in my house. Running the cable under carpets and drilling through walls to get the best possible location for my cable hookup in my place. This guy deserves salary and needs a top quality partner. Best cable guy ever.
