Cheveux Salon

I went here today for a trim between haircuts. I had called in advance and made an appointment and that should have been my first indication to NEVER step foot inside this «salon». When I called, the stylist that answered didn’t even identify herself OR the business. I had to ask whether or not I had called the right place. She responded that I had, but that she had «forgotten» what the name of the business was.
Things only went downhill from there. I was greeted by the stylist, who, again, did not introduce herself to me. She sat me down and asked me to take my hair down and verified I was there for a trim. She then started dry-​cutting my hair without asking how much length I was comfortable with taking off. Without asking, she took off an inch and a half and only commented on it after she was «done» by saying, «well I probably took off more that you were comfortable with but at least it can grow back.» She never once got my hair wet and she never checked her work. My «appointment» lasted 6 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I walked out.
I only learned that the stylist’s name was Barb because she gave me a card after I had paid.
When I got home, I shampooed, dried, and straightened my hair and found over ten spots that had not been trimmed at all, and others that had been trimmed at least a quarter inch shorter than the rest of my hair. I am LIVID. I would go back and complain, but I would never let anyone from this business near my hair ever again.
