If you are wondering where customer service and common courtesy have gone to die, look no further than this dump. I stopped by in the middle of a Monday afternoon, looking to grab a quick snack. It was just me and four employees in the store. Well, one of them was two feet away from the front door smoking a cigarette and yapping on a cell phone — it must have been her break. Thanks for the secondhand smoke. Hope you don’t win a Darwin Award smoking that close to the gasoline pumps. The other three employees were behind the counter engaged in conversation, with their backs turned to the store. It took a good 45 seconds for them to acknowledge me and direct me to the open register. Once there, the employee handling my transaction never once paused her cell phone conversation, which was clearly personal in nature. If I were their manager, all four of them would have been fired on the spot. I’ll probably be back, because it is convenient and close to my office, but I won’t like it one bit.
