What a gem. So awesome. Great amenities, and great people to chat with while the dogs play. Plenty of space, different areas for small dogs, large dogs, and training. Doggie bags, trash, well maintained. The water was off due to weather so you might want to bring a bottle with you. Bathrooms are available outside in the park. Definitely worth the trip!

Awesome park! This is absolutely my favorite park in the area! Has a really awesome walking/nature trail. You get to see lots of different types of scenery(a gazebo, a Japanese garden, a creek/river, a marsh, meadows/fields, etc.) along the way. There is also a spring house(I don’t know what a spring house is, but that is what this brick structure is called?), although at the time I last went, in October of 2014, it was closed off with yellow caution tape. I believe they are in the process of restoring it(it’s supposed to be old/historical, dating back to pre-Civil War times). Some dummies had thrown some garbage in it, but luckily, it was graffiti –free when I last saw it. The paths are very easy to follow. There are different options you can take. Most of them wind around(although some take a while to make their loop), so if you went left the first time, you can go right after you make your way back to the initial split. And you never have to guess where the paths are; they are clearly indicated and VERY well-maintained. Some of the path is paved. Some of it is dirt/gravel. Some of it is grass/lawn. Some of it is wooden/boardwalk-y. Regardless of the type of path, you will know it’s an actual path. The entire trail is relatively flat. There is a bathroom, an actual bathroom(not outhouse) at the start of the trail. I’ve never been in it, so I can’t speak to its cleanliness, but at the very least, there is one available! There are occasional benches to sit at along the way. They’re not super frequent, but there are benches. Really a great park. Can easily spend hours walking around on the trails!

Great park. Nice trail also that is easy to walk or bike. Paved surface on path. No major elevation changes. Nice structures for parties and picnics. Full bathroom. Good parking lot. Interesting things to see along the paths also. Creek, meadow, forest, Japanese garden, and spring house. Park is open from dawn to sunset. Call to reserve use of the large covered pavilions(small fee).
