Golden Wu Chinese Restaurant

The food is amazing for a small town! Been eating here for years. Our waitress could have been a whole lot nicer. She didn’t talk to us or even ask if we were ready to order. She just stood there.

You couldn’t pay me to eat here. Ate here once ages ago, then the place got fined for taking the ducks from the city pond.

For a small town with limited restaurant choices this was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the hot and sour soup and it was ok. Nothing fancy and definitely not the usual recipe that one would expect as it seemed like a jazzed up egg drop soup but it did have plenty of fresh cabbage, mushrooms of multiple varieties, sprouts, and huge chunks of meat.
The entrée I had was a good portion of fresh meat and veggies. The menu stated that it was a spicy entrée but they apparently forgot to add any of the spices and peppers. It had a good flavor but I really was looking for a kick to clear my sinuses.
Overall this was a decent place to eat which is a whole lot more than can be said about many of the other places to eat in town. Try them out. You should be pleasantly pleased with what you get.
