Some friends of mine and I decided to throw a «prom» for adults… Really, it was a wedding without the bride and groom. Food, DJ, open bar… you get the picture. So we found this cheesy location. Because we planned this just 6 weeks beforehand, I knew the guy wouldn’t have a chance in hell of getting the upper floor reserved before then so I knew there was negotiating room. I ended up negotiating two entrée choices for the buffet, an open bar plus top shelf liquor for $ 36/person. That’s all well and good until they ran out of many types of liquor and Corona(their only«good» beer) by 9pm when we had the event reserved from 6:30pm-midnight. The food was decent and the servers were personable. The place is very dated with their tables, décor, linens, etc.
