Jakprints

I used Jakprints to design and print some promotional postcards for my business Virtual Vinyasa. Jimmie Graham, one of the employees at Jakprints helped me with the process. Jimmie was honest, efficient, and sweet. I received my postcards exactly when he promised they would be delivered. The color and quality of the cards is superb. I would recommend this company to anyone having printing needs:) Thanks Jimmie and Jakprints for being awesome!

WOW! I am impressed. I ordered a set of die cut business cards. Nothing too intricate but a very tight register. I was a new customer so I wasn’t sure what to expect. They came in at half the cost of my other quote so, honestly, I wasn’t expecting anything anywhere near to the quality I received… and I’m one of those picky designers. The register was right on… the color was right on… and the cost was really right on. I’ll definitely be a return customer. For all you designers out there who are shy about an online printer rest assured that these people can do the job. Some of the ownership is on you in that you have to set your job up correctly. They are not babysitters… but they are professionals.

There is nothing they will not do perfect honestly, They are family to us and they do some amazing work and the staff is hell of cool and amazing and i love them to death!

I really want to love Jakprints, but they aren’t giving me anything to work with. The prices for standard products are pretty consistently higher than their local competitors. And every time I have requested a quote on a custom item, I’ve had to go back and forth in email with their rep who seems to have little to no experience.
He asks for specs even though I gave them in the initial request. He wants a picture of a finished product to better understand what I want. I understand that on unique projects but not on fairly standard print options. I don’t even have to have a quote that is set in stone — I’m totally cool with a printer giving me a quote based on his best understanding. We can always go back and change it. But I have to be able to return to my client with options.
I end up never getting a quote from Jakprints because the client needs the project printed ASAP and other printers are able to give quotes within a couple of days. If other printers expressed the same confusion as the Jakprints rep, I would assume that I wasn’t being clear… But that isn’t the case.
Bottom line is that Jakprint’s sample products look great and I would love to add them to my list of local go-​to printers, but I can’t do that when their prices are consistently higher and I can’t even get a custom quote without spending days going back and forth with their rep.
I dislike giving poor ratings to businesses because it can really hurt them. I want to be fair. For that reason — and because the problems I have encountered are inconvenient but not actually harmful to me — I am giving them what I consider an average rating. If I ever work with them, I’ll update this review to reflect that experience.

I ordered cards online through jakprints and I can say that it was not that great of an experience. First they would not remove the square box background of the image that I sent in unless I paid extra to have the image sent to one of their artists. I do not think people should have to pay extra to have a white background deleted, but I went ahead and got transferred to the artist, who wasn’t there, and left a voicemail. No one ever called me back. About a week and a half later (I thought maybe they were just busy and gave them the benefit of the doubt) I contacted them letting them know that no one ever contacted me, so they had someone else contact me. He was pretty quick but I had to pay $ 40 extra just to have a white background removed from a picture, but at least the cards would be done soon, right? Wrong. It has been 8 days since I approved the proofs and we don’t have our order– the order hasn’t even shipped yet. So, yeah it was okay. Not very fast.

I have tried 3 different printing places for printing stickers, Jakprints was by far the best. Best prices and options for sticker types, and fast! I was very impressed.
I also asked for samples and they sent me the coolest little sample booklet of stickers and all the stuff they do.
Keep it up! You rock Jakprints!

Picked up an order for the company here; there’s easily accessible parking and the interior, well, it really surprised me. It looked like a really cool retail store… it was really neat! The order took quite awhile to be printed (according to the girl that ordered them), but the quality was superb. Very high quality, in fact.
The guy who rang me up was not very cheerful or particularly chatty, even after I complimented the place. I just don’t think he was awake yet, as I was there quite early. :).
I am pleased with this printer… the product we ordered (cards and envelopes for customers) were perfect. And I really loved the interior of the place, plus it’s easy to find and park.

After pricing out some other printing services and checking out stock options, we ended up deciding to go with Jakprints for our wedding paper goods. The company’s reputation alone could have made the decision, but, you know, when you’re printing wedding invitations, you need to know your options.
I had gotten the invitations designed through a wonderful girl on etsy (message me if interested – I’m totally willing to sing her praises as well) and the lovely folks here were more than willing to listen to my ideas and vision to work things out with me and get these invitations to be exactly what we wanted. After a handful of quotes and options, we made our final decision, approved the prints and held our breath.
The invitations were done very quickly and I was so excited to see and hold one; they were perfect and I don’t think we could have asked for better quality or a better price (or better customer service for that matter). It did take a little longer for my initial quote inquiry to get answered, but that is obviously due to the high volume of Cleveland printing this company does and the time I had to wait was by no means outrageous and it didn’t effect my wedding planning schedule. I’d definitely recommend Jakprints for your printing needs. They’re affordable, efficient, friendly and produce quality products.

Affordable, efficient, friendly, and quality print jobs make me a fan for life. Jakprints is a well oiled machine ready to produce perfect prints on anything you want and for the best price.
I have had them do two jobs for me and am ready with a third and each time they’ve been the best quote, and have gotten me my product faster than I expected.
My initial order had a little snafu with the shipping address being inverted, but they were ready to reprint and overnight ship if the packages weren’t found. That’s stand-​up! A lot of places would just blame UPS and move on.
My experience with their customer service has been great. Pleasant and helpful. I love that they are an Ohio company and support local Cleveland (my hometown) stuff, especially their band scene, but that they are also the go-​to printer for places around the country. Their social media and blog are on point. I loved it when they featured my print job in their blog. I got quite a few hits on my etsy page from their post!
Definitely a testament to a company you want to work with.

Ordered some 1 inch vinyl stickers from these guys. Super good quality!

A few weeks ago i placed an order for promo stickers my boss wanted to hand out at the next trade show. well everything went good. they had me pay in advance 240 dollars for 1000 stickers, and the proof was sent 18^th. the 19^th i approved the order and there is were the ball was dropped. The Account rep that i emailed never pushed in the order. they listed on-​line that it was in production but the truth of the matter was still needed approval, an approval that i had already given via email. WOW now they have offered free overnight shipping but still will get my product that was payed in advance until THURSDAY 3 days from NOW! Last project i will ever do with them. And now i have a boss upset cause he doesn’t have his stickers to give out. I don’t recommend to trust this company, and if you do call them all the time to make sure they get your projects done.

You mean you can print my work stuff fast, AND check for misprints without taking my life savings or claiming my first born child?
Woah.
I didn’t know a printer could was capable of this sort of thing. No, really. And honestly, Jakprints now has a customer for life. I mean, they’re so good that I might even consider negotiating my first born, just because.
In all seriousness, I’ve always heard amazing things about these guys. I still to this day am not quite sure what took me so long to give them my business. Maybe I thought they had be expensive… who knows.
Regardless, they really worked with me on the mini budget I had for my project. I had one rep who helped me figure everything out in one phone call. I was able to upload, approve and pay for my entire order online and the best part? It was done in like 2 business days. Easy-​peasy.
Wait, let me correct myself. I think the best part was the price. This is coming from a girl who’s been through the ringer with every FedEx Office employee and local print house ’round town. Misprints, reprints, backorders, wrong orders – it’s because something I’ve dread. I even had a girl mess up my order so badly that she tried to charge me $ 700 for a quantity I did not order!
Not anymore. Jakprints is local. They hire local people. Why is this important? Well, for one, those local people know the city and it’s businesses. They’ll actually take the time to look at your files and check for misprints. I actually had a local print company let me pay for 500 fliers with «Flying Pig» on them. Seriously? You’re a Cleveland biz and you don’t know that it’s supposed to be «Flying Fig»? So, not only did I pay for an over-​priced order, I had to pay for reprints and I know for a fact now that you don’t even look at your orders prior to printing. Cool. I’ll go to Jakprints.
Take it from a gal who needs lots of things printed up and has tried ‘em all: Jakprints is the place to go. Quality, quick, awesome service at a ridiculously affordable price.

I have had nothing but AMAZING experiences with Jakprints. Every print order not only has been top quality, but also affordable, with excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, expert customer service. I love that they use environmentally-​friendly inks & papers and, while they are not the absolute cheapest or run holiday specials, they give you a quality, affordable product you can count on!
I will continue to use Jakprints for future projects for the corporation I work for, freelance & personal projects! Worth your time and money!

THE UP-​SIDE: A hip business for absolutely any printing need you may have. I used these guys for a two-​sided, color postcard and they did a great job. The web site has all of the templates you may need for your job, and things couldn’t be made any easier. With tons of products available, you’d be hard-​pressed to find a product they don’t offer.
THE DOWN-​SIDE: The only real down-​side to this place is the overdone, über-​hipster attitude. That’s not to say the people aren’t nice — they are. However, the people here are trying WAYYYYYY too hard to play the part of the indifferent, artsy type. It’s fake, and I wish they’d just cut it out.
THE SUM-​IT-​UP: This place is great, and I’ll continue to go here for all my printing needs. They’re fast, have a great and helpful web site, and have hundreds of products available. If you can stomach the über-​hipster attitude here, you’ll be very satisfied.
