It meets the Indian grocery needs, but the owner has an attitude.

Recently moving here from NJ where there is a large Indian population I had difficultly finding a place to do my groceries. I was driving about an hour to parma. When I came across this place. It’s 30 mins from my house 20 mins from work. Fairly small store but has everything you need. Prices are good for what I expect in an area with a small Indian community.

The prices are really good and I love love love the spicy peas and chickpeas that they sell in a bag — kind of like an alternative to potato chips. The people are really nice and there is a huge selection. I usually stop by here after I place my takeout order at Taste of Kerala.

If you can catch the fresh samosas or veggie puff pastries, you’re in luck! It’s cash only under $ 10, by the way.

Good place to get your indian ingredients! I always go there to get the premade paste/sauce for butter chicken.

Great place to pick up Indian/Asian groceries on the East side. Owners are really friendly and helpful people. Definitely a greater variety of foods than at some of the other nearby Indian stores.

If you live on the east side and want to cook some Indian food – which you should learn to do, since there are no good Indian restaurants – you will probably end up here. The prices are probably not what will not bring you back, but honestly there’s not much alternative. Anyway, even with higher than expected prices(for an Indian store), spices are still massively cheaper than your local grocery. Not to mention all of the stuff you just can’t buy anywhere else. The guy at the counter was really nice, asked us what we were cooking, and gave us his advice on cooking the recipe with less oil. I was a little disappointed that we got a rotten coconut though. Do you know how to tell whether or not a mature coconut is still good? If so, send me a message. :)
