McDonald’s

It was late. I just got out of a concert and I needed dinner quick before I drove home 2 hrs away. It was monopoly season and I ordered a #1 w/​a large fry.
Most rude staff I’ve ever come across! The order I placed was completely wrong and I didnt get a single monopoly piece, and I told the woman who was working. She said tough and slammed her window right in my face. I knocked on her window and asked if I could at least be compensated by giving me the monopoly pieces she left out and she laughed at me. What else can I say…

My friend and I decided to go to this McDonald’s tonight and it was horrible. We waited in the drive-​thru for over 20 minutes. They decided to serve a guy that walked up to the window. The guy in the car in front of us even put his hand out to tell them to go away.
When we got to the window, we expected the cashier to confirm our order. Instead she grabbed the credit card and swiped it. When we got the receipt we noticed it was the wrong order and she grabbed the card and receipt and slammed the window. She then opened the window and told us we were going to pay more (our bill was 0.20 more). I asked for the manager and a kid came to the window and instantly started yelling at us and giving us an attitude because apparently someone got out of line but you are blocked from leaving the line because there are barriers.
Didn’t trust them with our food at that point and asked for a refund. The cashier started yelling at us and threatened to call the cops. At that point we told her to go ahead, because the only thing she could say was that we were upset that they charged us for someone else’s order. A real manager came up and treated us with some respect and finally apologized for the incident.

Sometimes I go out on work nights. Sometimes I feel like hell on earth when I wake up the next day. I come to the McDonald’s on Clark for breakfast on some of these days. It is always a great scene of people from multicultural backgrounds. Not too many cultures, usually black, white and hispanic hanging out, getting breakfast, breaking bread and breaking the day. I mistakenly waited until I got out to Solon for breakfast one day at the McDonald’s out there. The people there are just so lame it hurts. I really like the Clark neighborhood and the people that live around it.

This is probably the best McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in Cleveland. For real… I don’t know what it is, but this place is a well-​oiled machine. I’ve come here at all times of day and never been disappointed.
The people in the drive thru are extremely friendly and the service is extraordinarily fast. It’s unbelievable… the difference between employees here in contrast to the employees at other McDonald’s around the area is like night and day.
Also, they’re open 24 hours a day! They do close on holidays (found that out the hard way over Thanksgiving!) but hey, so does everyone else!
What’s not to like? I’m glad this is the closest one to me… yet another benefit of living in Tremont!
