Ever been to one of those hole-in-the-wall bars and kind of felt like you were being stared at; wondering who the hell these guys are? This is that bar. It was all regulars and we didn’t get that«Cheers» friendly feeling. We were in town to visit a friend and got in late; so we figured we’d stay close to his Lake Avenue apartment. This was close; so we tried it out. I will say the beer prices are great; we all managed to tie one on for not much money. The juke box also seemed to be stocked with awesome late 90s-early 2000s hits which is always a huge plus to me. Dortmunder Gold, Stella Artois, and Newcastle were on tap with your standard Bud-Miller-Coors swill. While this selection won’t stand up to the awesome selection in many other Cleveland bars; I wasn’t disappointed by it for the size of this small neighborhood haunt.

Totally under the radar bar(not scary) in Cleveland’s Edgewater neighborhood filled with hipsters and mid twenty-somethings who don’t like the suburbs. The bar is mostly white, playing loud tunes you probably remember from college in the mid 2000’s, or if you’re single and thirty, like me, you’ll remember from when you went to clubs when you were in your vulnerable, early twenties. Apparently, this is «old school» music to those young and hip. Why such a focus on music? I find pop music is a great age divider; for example, don’t think 25 and 30 are too different? Well, how about when the 30 year old says great tune! I remember this from high school. Then, the 25 year old says«yeah, I remember this from when I was 9.» record scratch… Women rule! Boyz in their twenties drool!(except for Will and Kris!) Ps great patio! Super cute with twinkle lights.
