Dr. Skerl and the hygienists are very good with small children, including my kid when she was a toddler. She’s been going to this practice since her first tooth erupted (I took her to get her acclimated to a dentist) and she loves getting her teeth cleaned. She talks about how much she likes «her friend, Dr. Skerl!»
The hygienists always show her their tools and let her choose her toothpaste flavor. They show her everything and explain it so she’s interested and not frightened. This is great because I had mediocre dentists that were more frightening and intimidating during my childhood (I have a phobia now). Anyway, after the visit, they always give a toothbrush, mouthwash, toothpaste and a toy. This practice is a good choice for children and adults alike.
