NRP Group is one of the worst companies I have ever leased from. Checkout the reviews on their properties here in San Antonio at The Landings At Brooks City Base and Belleza at Cresta Bella. They make up rules as they go along: for instance, all the way up until February-March they would allow you to pay your rent via credit card with no fees, then all of a sudden we received notices that they were implementing a fee if you paid via credit card(mind you, I’ve lived here since last summer so that was a slap in the face not only to implement something like that, but to give less than 60 days notice as well). They then tried to implement an online payment portal which was a train wreck. Not even 30 days later they sent out notices that you MUST pay by check for your May rent(which I don’t own a checkbook and that meant that I had to go out and incur a fee to get a cashier’s check) because of a problem with their payment system. The problem with their payment system was in fact that they had sold the property to a new management company, Community Property Management Co. which we are just now finding out about today thru a notice left on our doors. They implemented parking passes at the City Brooks property and refuse to do so here even though at night the parking here is so bad you have people parking in fire lanes or parking behind other cars blocking them in, in some instances. People that own garages take up 3 spaces because they have their garage, the space in front of their garage, but they ultimately end up parking on «the strip» or main drive where people without garages, car ports, etc. are supposed to park — and once again, management does NOTHING. They also decided to repave the parking lot and gave less than 48 hours notice on their intent to do so and so of course, when people weren’t aware of what was going on and parked where they were trying to pave, they had people’s cars TOWED. I feel like NRP group has never actually managed a property before and the way that they are going they are going to end up in a lawsuit.
